@Canucks de Vancouver

Not surprised, this is how supply and demands works

Canucks should have required ticketmaster resales at face value.

They didn’t allow resales period which is why people went to stub hub

Scalpers are actual human trash, get a real job.

The part that makes it insane to me is the fact it’s literally watching the jumbotron together. It’s not even a live show and the tickets are $15.

Considering how cheap it is and the fact it’s not even a live event, like cmon. It feels closer to a community event than a big sports game or concert. I understand the incentive to flip $200 Drake tickets for $600 or whatever, but scalping for a $15 charity event that’s basically watching TV is insanity

Make the tickets non-transferable in Ticketmaster. The original sales proceeds go to Canucks for Kids fund, and it is design for those (majority of fans) who couldn’t afford the actual playoff game tickets to get to experience a playoff atmosphere. Make these non-transferable so none of them can be resales.

Should be banned from the resale market. The fucking world is going to shit, can people at least try to not help it along for 5 goddamn minutes.

  8. Not to mention the people who stole towels off of seats and left fans in attendance without a towel to cheer with.

When I went to the watch party on Friday neither I nor any of the people I went with got a towel because people were going around grabbing as many as they could to hoard. Stay classy Vancouver

Don’t buy resale. If you don’t have one, show up and see if they’ll release some seats once it starts. They probs will. Fuck them resellers

I wish that ticket prices were lower, and distributed more to younger fans. I remember during the first watch party a kid won tickets to game 5 while dancing on the jumbotron. He was so happy and excited that his eyes almost bulged out of his skull when he won. That’s the type of fan I’d like to see at the games in the playoffs, not older people with enough cash to get a marked up resale ticket.

    Scalping/resale is shitter behavior.

People are literally reselling towels they took from the stadium too, absolute wankers

If you’re out here scalping tickets to a 15$ community event you are literally the scum of the earth. Go get a job for fuck sake

  14. superworking

Despicable. This is a great opportunity for families and less fortunate to get a great experience. Don’t fuck it up.

  15. nucksmisconduct1

    It’s embarrassing behaviour.

I still remember when people were selling Covid test kits

    1. I fully agree that this shouldn’t be scalped. The main reason is the fact that all the proceeds go to a charity. Making money on this is despicable.

    2. Not sure why you had to bring in your dad into this.

I’ll be so bummed if scalpers make watch party tickets unaffordable because I definitely can’t afford playoff tickets, couldn’t make it to a viewing party for round 1, and really really want to go to one for round 2.

A lot of us can’t afford to see our team play in the playoffs in person and this is the closest we can get, to fuck over so many people out of sheer greed is just peak asshole behaviour.
