Great review Shannon! And yes regarding the national announcers… when Otter got a save it was a close goal for the Knights. When Hill got a save, amazing stop by Hill. Glad you listened to the local Dallas broadcast, I wish we did. Daryl “Razor” Reaugh is my personal favorite color/play by play announcer of all time and he does call it like it is, his own bias (mostly) aside. He is great and often very funny! All the best and looking forward to the Avs!
As a Stars fan, I completely agree with you about the national broadcasting. It seemed it was always about story lines and Vegas was always spoke about more in my opinion. Josh and Razor are a delight to listen to which is why ive always watched the Stars on Bally over a national broadcast. Call the action as it happens and leave the story lines for intermission.
All in all though, such a great series, its unfortunate that these teams met this early. GG Vegas, can't wait to play you again next year, lets just agree that its the conference final again?
Sadly, we've just watched Marchessault's final game as a VGK. Last summer he himself said coaching and ownership both let him know we will not be renewed. Thanks for being our modern Yvan Cournoyer. Nobody can ever take that Stanley Cup win away from you. Too bad Hertl didn't see you for that open net game winning goal in game 7.

Such a great series, such a great ending! Wyatt Johnston is showing signs of a true playoff performer. Stars took down a Vegas team that was arguably deeper than last year. Now onto Colorado, another team that has a legit shot at the cup. Dallas must have the toughest road of any team this year. Go Stars!
Sad this ends the BallySW broadcast season for the Stars. Now we only get Josh and Razor on radio 🙁
I know what you mean with the announcers in a series. I got the same vibe in the Caps vs NYR series. They were always glowing about the NYR and it was quite annoying. When Artemi P. hit Oshie with a blow to the head they did not even entertain the possibility it was an illegal hit in their talking points. That and so many other things made it nearly impossible to listen unless you are a NYR fan.
So happy Vegas lost. Now need Boston to lose, then I don’t care who wins.

The nationals have been licking opponent ass since last years playoffs. I always listen to the ticket feed with Josh and Razor, sync it with the TV. The number of comments about terrible announcers game after game lets me know its the right choice. Plus Razor is the best, no contest. His vocabulary and phrases are unmatched. And hes no homer. Ive heard few home announcers that will call BS as much as he does. Even if it goes against the Stars. Hes a fan of the team, but also a fan of the game. Fact he played for awhile doesnt hurt.

If I had a dollar for every Stars fan I've seen go into Golden Knights spaces and talk some of the worst sh*t I've ever heard a winning fanbase say to a losing fanbase, I would be rich. Stars fans, I doubt I will ever respect you or your team.
There are only two consolations I feel:
1. We never got blown out by you, every game was close, and if only a few chances went the other way in this series, the situation would be flipped;
and 2. it doesn't matter how much you gloat, how much you say we deserve this series loss because of cheating the LTIR system, how much you insult us and pour salt into the wounds like I've seen easily 90-95% of you doing tonight, none of that is able to take the Golden Knights' names off of the Stanley Cup.
We won't be champions this year, but we're still a Championship team and we will be again.

I don’t know if you watch it or not but on Saturday, it was the Kentucky Derby and Eddie lost a lot a money so I imagine he had money on Vegas as well, which would explain the bias 😂😂 Congrats on the series win, please make more of an effort against the Avs than Winnipeg did, keep the glass around, chat with Bettman, do what you gotta do 👍🏻
