  1. Zeppelin is fine but most of the songs are just hair metal adjacent. No need to take a swipe at Audioslave. RIP Chris Cornell.

  2. Leafs fell asleep in the OT. That was a set play, knowing the home ice, knowing the boards and great vision. The D went blank, Pasta took advantage

  3. The X factor in NHL seasons in this Cap Era..who’s your coach. There’s turnover because quality coaching is relevant. So ironic the team that is continually fixated on winning The Cup.. keeps trying to accomplish this feat with the same Coach ..as if his contributions are irrelevant to the postseason outcome.

  4. The no fight after nies crashed into swayman and swayman making sure he was ok was my favorite part of the game. Everyone saw it was an accident, and there was real concern for the player that went down. No rough stuff just you ok? Good let keep going. As a panthers fan though I can tell you that's not how it's going to go in the next series unfortunately.

  5. It was actually Mike Patton (Faith No More) talking about Wolfmother, not Audioslave 😅

  6. Leafs are Golfing today. the roster will comprise of…ausTEEn matthews..joseph BALL..timothy liljeGREEN…CADDY weber..DIVOT kampf

    …ilya SANDsonov…PUTTus holmberg..tyler BOGEYtuzzi..PITCH marner

  7. if ullmark does leave, first game ullmark v swayman. no matter the outcome both goalies come to center ice after or before the game, and do it anytime they play each other

  8. Leaf fans are the “Karens” of hockey. Think they know everything, and act like they are the arbiters of the sport, but get a dose of reality when it really comes to crunch time.

  9. There is no path forward for the Maple-Trons. There is only oblivion. Gut the front office, fire Keefe and trade everyone.

  10. Cochise slaps more than Whole Lotta Love and that's what hockey is all about. Both are awesome though.

  11. There was a goalie hug right after the goal, but the broadcasters missed it. Someone in the crowd got it, saw it on bostons subreddit

  12. lol refs dont give penalties, players take them …bc they are slow and need to grab and trip and embellish thats why they got more penalties

  13. Swayman and Ullmark did actually hug, and not just the one that you mentioned that was shown at the end of the broadcast. While the rest of the team was celebrating around Pasta in the corner, the two of them hugged at the blue line and then joined the rest of the team. The broadcasts either showed the crowd or the Bruins celebrating or the Leafs hanging their heads, so they missed it. There's some fan footage that showed it, though (ESPN posted one of them on Twitter).

  14. You can't look at it as anything but coaching/management issue. I honestly wonder what they look like with a new head coach. The only player I wonder about is Marner. Tavares has had a bad year but he still has his clutch moments and that means everything during the playoffs. Marner clearly has too much pressure on him both externally and internally. He's absolutely a prized player, he will murder us in the future. It's such a shame.

  15. rarely disagree with you, but no, Toronto did not play anything remotely approaching "well" or "good" or even "ok". How much money do they pay their star forwards? How many points did they get? Goals? Exactly! Boston didn't play phenomenally, Toronto played meh.

  16. Keefe and Reilly were the main problem this series, Reilly was giving the puck away all series tossing it up the boards to a waiting B's player almost every shift in his zone and getting beat on almost every rush against while contributing almost nothing offensively, he gave the puck away getting the Leafs hemmed in their zone leading to the icing the B's capitalized on for the tying goal in Game 7. Then he got beat by Pasta for the GWG though I won't harp on him too bad there as it was a nice set play by the B's, but he still got beat.

Keefe playing him so much and in dumb situations is why I joined the fire Keefe bandwagon after Game 2 – less than 2 minutes to play with a 1 goal lead and a D-zone face-off and he puts Reilly out there, I screamed he was going to turn it over and cost them the game and he did turn it over like 5 seconds after the face-off but amazingly they recovered and held on to win that game despite Reilly's best effort to throw it away.

Fire Keefe, trade Reilly and Marner and use the money to shore up the D and you'd have a much better playoff team IMO.

  17. This is what happens when you have top 4 players' salary top 45% of the total payroll. There is no depth scoring and 2 of the top 4 were injured. The team was handicapped literally. Domi and Bertuzzi have heart but they can't score and they were counting on the rookie Matthew Knies to score. I won't blame the players. Shannahan and whoever do those contract. He has been with the club for 10 years and only won one playoff series. If this was the US club, he would be gone by year 5.

  18. I actually do kinda feel bad for Toronto. They have a good fun exciting team but I feel like that team is build to sell tickets.
