The words passion and Pierre Luc Dubois is an oxymoron. It sounds like they're gonna basically run it back which is utterly stupid. This team is fundamentally broken.

This roster has more offensive talent then defensive, we need a level of fitness to play attack style hockey . Defense is just something you have to do at certain moments, it shouldn’t be the plan , that’s playing not to loose , instead of playing to win .
Integrity, passion, family…all fantastic ideals and qualities. But all these years of not winning a playoff round, those qualities mean nothing if we as fans continue to spend money just to watch this team fail in the first round. It's sad that the fanbase would probably be happy just winning one round now. And to Rob's statement around progress, it's actually been a regression. Losing in 7 games 3 years ago, 6 games last year and 5 this year while ending up with less points this season vs last season. I'm not sure how anyone can see that as progress. Other teams have had the same amount of time to get better and some have passed up the Kings. Too many excuses, too many poor decisions that haven't moved this team forward. I'm a half season ticket holder, went to more games than I've gone to in years and have been a fan since the early 80s. This offseason and the changes that are made will determine how much time and money I invest in this team moving forward. Be better, do better.
AEG should sell the team to a private group soley committed to winning a cup and not only making $. #AEGSelltheKings
Honestly, this makes a lot of sense. Blake has 1 year left on his deal and Luc has helped create a couple teams (Ontario/LA) that have produced pretty decent results (I know we all want another cup). The PLD buyout would be awful for 14 years, no thank you, hopefully they go a different way behind the bench, give some of the young players like Kaliyev more minutes (and games) and the team gets better overall.
These buffoons don’t care about this team and saying this season is better than previous is an absolute joke. This team will not improve and now they have to deal with that albatross of contract with PL. Get your umbrella, Kings fans dark days ahead.
Can we plz get a real number 1 goalie? And then hope pld does better next year. No shot he plays worse than this year.

Delusional. Downright disappointing. “We need to figure out how to translate that success to the playoffs” when you’ve had THREE FULL YEARS to figure it out and each result is worse than the last. That isn’t progress, it’s going backwards. LEAGUE AVERAGE SCORING AND NOT HAVING THE WORST GOALTENDING IN THE LEAGUE BACK TO BACK YEARS IS NOT PROGRESS.
“We need to figure out how to use PL better.” Maybe you should’ve had a plan in place BEFORE giving him $68 million instead of letting him wither away on a line with AHLers. Completely ignoring why the young corps has not been impactful nor received the proper development. These two are absolutely lost. Have no answers. Are blindly committed to a failing blueprint. Until we actually see it, they’ve given the fan base ZERO reason to believe they will implement positive change going forward. Disgusting.
Lucky for GM. Blake did ok up until the PLD move. All the warning signs were there with him and his prior teams.

We've been hearing this same message for the last five years Enough is enough. Two steps forward and three back with this group. They talk about organizational culture which is fine, but this team has had no identity or grit since the cup years. Blake's over his head, and is throwing darts after tequila shots hoping his hollow words and leadership hits the center of the board. He needs to go, Bergevin needs to go, Luc needs to go back to a Community Relations role where he excels, (it is not in hockey ops) and bring in new GM and some hockey ops people who are willing to come in and make the hard decisions. Kings are a mess. Long time Kings fan (1970) , and the wishing and hoping by LAK senior mgt. has to stop.
