Evason would kind of be a Berube lite. His Minnesota teams played very hard and physical and he’s super intense. Flin Flon guy so you know he’s hard as iron.
Gotta go with the Chief. We need someone strict with a winning background. Bowness was soft, Maurice was soft, Noel was an idiot.
Berube is a caveman. No thanks. Gallant is the best choice.
Scott Arniel has paid his dues. He was money behind the bench when Bones was out. Fans just think the grass is greener over the fence. Jets already have their man and I’m happy with it.

How bout Soctty Bowman, even deceased his intimidation will drive the Jets towards success. Plus during intermission we only need an ouija board.
I’d like to see a guy like Todd Nelson given a shot.
Gallant is the dream, but Arniel did well when Bowness was out, and he’s a True North lifer. I’d be surprised if it isn’t Arniel in the end and I’m cool with that.
Woodcroft?
I’m hoping for Woodcroft. The Jets org as a whole is in desperate need for some young blood as well as some non-1.0 Jets/Manitoba Moose connections. Add in the fact he’s genuinely a good coach and he seems like the guy imo.
Probably going to be Arniel. Guess he deserves his shot, just a little worried it’s going to be the same old system

Quite the list.
Imo we don’t need another coach who has good regular seasons, just to fall apart in the playoffs. Top two candidates are Gallant and Berube as they are really the only ones who had playoff success at the NHL level.
David Carle is interesting, but is he going to be good like Montgomery or mediocre like Hakstol?
Wooodcroft….i think we need to ask why he was chased out of Edmonton. Yeah, their goalies were bad, and McJesus was injured, but there was something else going on there, and it seemed similar to what was rumored to have been happening here.
Outside of those, I think Id sooner keep Arniel and see what he can do.
Berube would be a pick for me too. Along with Gallant. We need some hard nose coaching to kick these guys in the ass
Someone that uses advanced stats and isn’t afraid to play the kids. Also, a good PP and PK would be nice for a fucking change.
