Interesting that McDavid isn’t there. This is a player’s voted award, so I think Matthews being up in this list suggests there’s going to be a very diverse voting spread between the Hart and Lindsay awards.

I saw a Jets reporter yesterday wondering where Matthews would be in Lindsey voting after not being a finalist for the Hart because he said a few Jets players told him they had Auston at one on their ballot so wonder where he will finish.
Also it’s kinda crazy that Auston has more nominations for other trophy’s than any of the Hart finalist and already has the Rocket but not up for MVP.

Let alone scoring 69 goals while also being an absolute monster in the defensive end.

It’ll be MacKinnon still, but I would’ve left Kucherov off out of the big four. He led the NHL in empty net points by a wide margin and just overall I don’t think he provides as much as the others. He’s the best singer of his generation, it’s just a really tough year.

How the fuck can you be a Rocket Trophy Winner with the most goals in 30 years AND be a Top 3 finalist for the best defensive forward in hockey but not even be a Hart Trophy finalist. Unbelievably stupid.
