  1. As a Stars fan, i figured we'd lose game 1 just off the fact the Avs would be well rested with us going to game 7 in round 1. That was pretty evident as they had no gas in the 2nd and 3rd. Yet, it was still a really close game, I'd say we have a 6-7 game series here.

  2. I’m glad this game didn’t have Eddie Olczyk explaining over and over again how this goal happened because a Dallas star didn’t do his job.

  3. Oettinger could have been a little more aggressive I think. Not that Im complaining about the result, just an observation.

  4. I came off my couch and yelled SCOOOOOOORE AVs win, I thought i gave my dogs heart attacks. What a game and what a finish. I love Wood yelling it in the interview, saying to Cogs Chip Chip Chip, then Wood was gone. GO AVs!!!!!

  5. The Avalanche are a machine. There’s so many good teams in the west, but they are just relentless.

  6. I bet Johnston learned a huge lesson. He was too low and Wood slipped in.
The kid is playing lights out – 5 playoff goals? Wow!

  7. That wood goal in overtime was against the star’s best defenseman. Heiskanan had a stride and a half on wood and Miles beat him to Oettinger
