Better effort tonight, great to see Lundvist have some success too, over 5 minutes. Benn’s clean hit, yet appears to have a mean streak, not cool! Avs first goal was weak, other two definitely better! Oettinger was great! Shots on goals end at 31 per team! Looking forward to more of the Stars hitting the back of the net! Go Stars Go! ⭐️⭐️⭐️. I will say if they continue to play from 3 or more goals behind the Avs will eventually run out of gas. That takes a massive toll on the body and the mind to keep having to try and stage furious comebacks. They may get one or two like they did in the first game but the odds of them doing it on a nightly basis are not good especially in the post season against a team like the Stars.
Nice to see Seguin finally get a goal. Would be nice to see Pavs get a couple as well..

The Finnish Mafia truly lived up to its name last night, with Hintz, Heiskanen, Lindell all hitting the score sheet. If you count ex-Star Kiviranta getting a goal against us, the Finns did quite well.
I will take exception to the assertion of laziness on defense. I didn't see an example of that last night. All three of the Avs goals were lucky events, one off Val's leg, one off a rush where a player had retrieved a new stick, and the rebound that bounced right to Kivi's stick. We controlled and countered the Avs very well. Their top line was quiet. And that's what it's gonna take. 4-5 goals every game to beat this opponent. People forget how hard it is to win a series in the playoffs. The 4-0 sweep is an exception, not the rule. In the 90's/00's it was a multi-overtime fiesta every year. It was never pretty or easy in Dallas playoffs. GO STARS!!!
First off, I lived in Colorado at a higher elevation than Denver. Elevation is overrated. These are Pro Athletes peak cardio fitness. Second, Lunquist/Suter were on defense for what, 2 of the Avs goals? Awful. Stars have actually dominated much of the play from both games and going to Ball arena should be no different. GO STARS GO!!!
