I’m pretty sure the general consensus among us Canes fans was that it was a swing and a miss

Someday we’ll be able to look back on these shirts and have a nice laugh

Quotes from players and « insults » from an old Canadian POS who was mad we were having fun after home wins are fine for t-shirts. Something like this not so much. The hockey gods have made us pay for our arrogance in this series.

Really poor job on marketing clothes this year. I would of avoided this one and cranked out a ton of cause chaos gear during the regular season instead of waiting till playoffs.

They really nailed it with this one

Who was this even aimed at originally? Was it the Islanders fans?
If so, that’s shitty. Their team was outclassed.

I really don’t understand why people hate this shirt so much. I bought one. 1) cuz the tweet was funny 2) the CRY tweet was in response to people being irate and hateful over the “They’re so mad” tweet. When the Islanders blew a lead, Guentzel put away the empty netter and the Isles started fighting. 3) opposing teams fan from half the league creeped up to $*!t o. The Canes, the fans, and the admin team and doxxed and harassed the admin to the point the removed their names from the Staff page and people literally thought she got fired. 4) it was for charity. Although it may now have a double meaning. I’m all good with it. It will ALWAYS mean the Isles paternity test came back reflecting the Canes are the father.
p.s : the point of team social media is to drive engagement – these tweets did huge numbers

Making this into a shirt was cursed from the get go

I’d love to see the persons other life decisions who decided this was a good idea to make.

Bad Mojo, jus saying

I’m glad I bought one. As an emotional support shirt for sweeps

Oh hey, it’s what our power play makes me want to do.
Prove me wrong, boys.

Quick! Take a Sharpie and write « Rangers! » underneath « Cry »!

Hockey fans are funny. This is a sport where they are allowed to fight and we’ve had opposition trying to hurt our players while opposing fans are cheering on injuries. Then they turn around and cry about a shirt.

Can someone explain to me why these shirts are hated? Thanks!

Bring back Take Warning. These were a huge miss

Thanks, I will be most likely after tonight’s game

This was a horrible marketing decision. Whoever‘s responsible for giving the go ahead on this should be fired
Dalmator
Oh the irony. Maybe you will keep it off and at hand in case you need it to swipe away tears (wipe for the sweep, or is it weep for the wipe? idk)
