I was stunned with how much higher quality it looked in person versus the photos. The embossed metallic NHL logo, the wrist flames being more subtle, faded and badass, and the double shoulder logos instead of the ugly and awkward Alberta flag.
This skyrocketed into a tie for my favorite Jersey, along with the clean retro.
I wish I’d have bought it sooner, but I will simply cherish it more now, like a lost crush I finally get a chance with.
