@Rangers de New York

Hahahaha.

    Good.

Let them make us the underdogs again.

We are 3-0 as the underdogs.

  2. Cute-Escape2751

Dude hates the Rangers. His Rempe article was pathetic and shameful.

Literally all the other beat writers wrote about how the Rangers were really calm and confident in the locker room after the loss. They know they played two really good periods of hockey and just happened to lose.

  3. Key-Tip-7521

Do your magic Lav. Show this to the guys. It will piss them off even more.

  4. Visual-Error-2707

Maybe seeds of doubt if we got blown out. But we came back and really only lost from a weak penalty for them to score on their FIRST POWERPLAY THIS SERIES.

I dont understand the hate boner everyone seems to have for us specifically.

  5. SoberBarney

Let’s not link this garbage. Cope paste what we’re allowed to but do give him the traffic.

Ranger fans are a journalist’s wet dream

  6. jeffschiller

He got you to post his article here, so he’s doing his job. Who cares what anyone has to say? The games speak for themselves.

  7. Stig12Cz

I will tell you secret. You can expect BS articles about Rangers at the athletic

  8. FTPMUTRM

That guy looks exactly how a writer that knows nothing about what he’s talking about would look

  9. PrestigiousFlan1091

They came back to tie it. Had chances to take the lead, lost on a long overdue PP goal against, all on the road. If they were going to lose (and they were and will) this is the way to do it. Even at Carolina’s best it was a close one. LGR.

  10. Such a dumb take. I doubt there is as anyone in rangers org that expected them to go 16-0. And they nearly stole that game after falling to 3-1 early

There are so many people out there that want to see the Rangers fail so badly. It used to get me pissed that nobody would give them credit when it’s due, but it’s gone on for so long I just can’t care anymore. No matter what they do, they have infinite more haters than any other team, ‘cept maybe the Leafs, but I don’t get that either. Now, I enjoy it. I love watching them cite stat after stat as to why the Rangers can’t do whatever it is they’re doing at the moment, then listen to them scramble to explain why their 1st explanations were wrong and the that the Rangers still suck. They’re getting some converts this post season, but not all.

This year is something special, it feels different, and with so many story-lines. Quick turning back the clock, Laf emerging, Igor’s crisis blown away with some of the best play of his career, Artemi determined to silence the critics, works all off-season, shows up with a new look and from day 1 made this one of the best seasons by any Ranger ever. And that’s not even all of it. Let ’em doubt us, it makes winning so much sweeter knowing so many people are fuming that the rangers get to do their crowd salute night after night.

No team has ever gone 8-0 to start the playoffs, this is such an insane take. We lost in the last minutes because of a power play. Rangers in 5

  13. NorthElderberry8581

Anything to get a couple extra clicks

  14. JaqenHghar

It was out worst game so far and we still clawed back and barely lost.

Hardly shook. They were so desperate and still nearly blew it.

  15. nyrangersfan77

I had the same feeling as you, the Rangers responded to that first period like a championship team. The Hurricanes came out at maximum intensity on home ice and they deserved to win the first period. The Rangers took the initiative the rest of the game and came back to tie, and it was anyone’s game in the third. That’s not the sign of a team that is in trouble, it’s the sign of a confident team.

  16. DonTrask

Going into the game, i told my friends that its not so much whether the Rangers lose but how if they do lose. So overcoming 2 different two goal deficits is a positive, the Canes now know that even if they get up on the Rangers, they are a team that can claw back into the game.

Now let’s see if the Rangers have learned their lesson. If in Game 5 they come out and score first and maybe get their own 2 goal lead to protect, it will be a whole new level of panic on the Cane’s bench. Should be a good test (game 5) for this Ranger team.

I like how these articles say « Lazarus… » as if everyone is supposed to automatically know who he is. Take it down a notch there, Jimmy Breslin.

  18. nickkkk777

Finish the jerks off so we don’t have to listen to these stupid narratives any longer

  19. Rude_Click5475

Yeah, because it’s totally normal to sweep the entire playoffs and glide right into a Stanley Cup. Give me a break, what a loser.

  20. billyratz

I am no longer asking, now I am urging and insisting that NYR fans stop reading and sharing articles like this that are solely meant to enrage the fan base. Every click this article gets encourages these people to write more shit articles like this.

  21. hyborians

Mark Lazarus. His brain ain’t coming back from the dead

  22. ElkPitiful6829

His dad shouldn’t have planted his seed in his mom.

  23. TheIncredibleHork

Insert Galvatron « This is bad comedy » meme here.

  24. So we are 7-1 in the post season and we should be worried, got it. 😂

  25. funkingrizzly

Have never cared what Lazarass thinks about anything

  26. Fearless-Wing-9621

I mean the fact that all of the games could’ve gone either way this series could easily be 3-1 them or tied. I don’t think anyone was saying 16-0. We’ve still got work to do

  27. jonahsocal

    The series is over.

They were at home. The Rangers essentially just played with one hand tied behind their back, for some reason, in the entire 1st period. When they started to play, they came right back. Carolina barely got out of it, couldn’t put it in the net with a 6th man on the ice.

I mean, come on. This looks more like a pitcher voluntarily wasting a pitch when he’s up 3-0 on the batter.

And CAR played their game, but it was frenzied-staving-off-elimination-in-front-of-the-home-crowd type of play.

They’re not, IMO, going to be able to sustain that.

The Rangees not only have a better controlled offense than Carolina, they’re like ninjas or assassins.

Everything can be going your way, you’re feeling in control and then in a veritable flash of lightening, you’re wiped out.

That’s the Rangers this year. That’s what they do. They wipe you out.

  28. mikeydamnfool

I’m not even mad about this loss. Rangers barely showed up 1st period and still came back. Carolina barely won. They’ll close it out Monday.

  29. TeamNecessary2616

Ever since the “over 100 anonymous sources” article about the Jets organization was put out, anything the athletic releases should be taken with a grain of salt.

  30. BrinaGu3

up 3-1 and heading home and they’re ‘shook’? ridiculous
