I said Avs in 6 for Winnipeg and they surprised me in 5. I said Avs in 6 against Dallas because the Avs are a superior team and this series is theirs to lose. The only thing standing in their way is themselves. Apparently the crowed was even off and some fights were breaking out in Ball. Sad to see such discord and dissension. Hi Stars fan here. At 3:24 in don't discredit your team for not doing enough. They tried everything they wanted to try. Stars have been underrated and overlooked all regular season. They are a "top 3" defense in the league for a reason. Stars played their game. Are you as frustrated as the team last night. Dallas defense is better than you are willing to say. Val N. tried but he got cancelled out by the Dallas defense. Otter is looking more and more like Calgary Jake from last year.

Dallas fan here. yall need help from your other lines. Your top line is scary when they are skating and moving. Dallas can run 4 lines and be effective. they are not trying to be flashy offensively, it seems like they are playing a counterattack type game Heck id argue our 4th line has been our best at establishing time in your zone and getting any kind of rush. they are doing it most consistently, the other lines are not establishing as frequently

Puck control and skating were not there. Who knows what the adjustment was supposed to be.
Avs are utterly baffled, like they’ve never played together before and forgot the basics. Stars appeared to be effortless. Clearly they have a plan that works. Why aren’t the Avs adjusting? Bednar’s coaching is suspect. I know they stuck to their game but it’s not working. Change it or they’re cooked, as Chris said.

I think the fact that we had to play Vegas in the opening round has helped us in this series. Vegas was a very tough team to beat. We had to really work for all our goals in that series. It's been a little easier in this series

As a Girard hater I can give him a tip of the cap last night. Hard for me to doll out compliments, but 4 blocked shots and a stick in the right place in critical moments was very well played. He gave up his body to get it out. I actually noticed him for good reasons, not all his common blunders. I challenge him to continue to play like that and maybe throw in a hit or 3 once in a while.
