  1. That Barkov go ahead goal was DISGUSTING and nobody is talking about it because of the controversy. Makes sense. But makes me sad.

  2. Florida is proving my theory that playing the dominant possession game while holding the opponent really low in shots makes a goalies save pct. look "bad". When the Avs do it its Kuemper being garbage but with Florida you dont hear a peep about Bobs save pct being sub .900.

  3. You know how sometimes hockey fans say it's good to get outshot 42-18 bc your goalie is in the flow of the game and the other goalie can get caught napping. Yeah, well, not today boys

  4. i probably would have called that goalie interference but i also think swayman wouldnt have saved it regardless

  5. Yes the Bruins were terrible in the third period with two SOGs but how was that not goaltender interference?

  6. Interesting sidenote: Okposo assisted on a goal of the series, maybe one of the best goals of the entire play-offs. Let that sink in…

  7. Florida gets away with a lot, and they are infuriating to watch your team play against, but it seems like they're the team that understands best that IT'S THE PLAYOFFS RIGHT NOW. Seriously its like they never take a shift off, let alone a period. It makes you wonder if theyll be able to do this all the way to the Finals, but they definitely are the team that is most screaming that they want it so far.

  8. Whether or not the goalie would've saved it anyways is irrelevant and not a factor. The severity of the interference is a relevant factor and ends up being the reason why it wasnt called.

Personally I think it shouldve been called based in contact but Boston cannot blame that call for this result. If you're outshot this badly then…it is what it is.

  9. I am sorry, I must beg to differ with the B's fans. They don't like it when Bennett plays like The Rat.
When Florida plays like their BRUINS they just fall apart. This is a case of Boston having to take the medicine they dish out.
I am not a Florida fan.
I remember the 🐀 game in the Stanley Cup final so no not a fan of panthers

  10. While I agree that goal was going in and swaymen wasn’t saving it, by the rules it should have been GI and I say this as someone rooting for the Cats

  11. That was a Bruins 2023 special right there, without the heartbreaking overtime goal. B's started chirping and took their foot off the gas late in the 1st. They deserved to let this one get away.

  12. I like the Panthers, and I thought they deserved to win, but the way they won left a bad taste in my mouth. I haven't seen it before, but my thoughts when I saw the challenge was that there was no way that they'd call it GI when the offensive player never touched the goalie. If I'm right, it was a really stupid challenge, even though it very clearly should've been called a cross check on the ice. I hope that the rule is written the way I interpreted it. Either way, Barkov's goal was sweet, and the Bruins weren't gonna score again no matter how many overtimes it took if they had been 2-2 instead of 3-2. I imagine the Cats come home and blow out the Bruins, but if not, the Bruins surely would appreciate turning the tables on last year's edition.

  13. You sound like such a big Florida Panthers fan😂 there is no chance you are a bruins fan. Refs screwed the Bruins over the last 2 games and stuff like that bring a teams spirit down and gives momentum to the other team. You keep saying Boston had 2 shots in the 3rd but remove the stupid calls by the biased refs I think bruins would have had more momentum and more shots. Plus this team is so tired they’ve been playing a game every 2 days in the last 3 weeks they need a break :/

  14. As a Panthers fan I was really surprised at the call. The refs didn’t keep Boston to only 18 SOG though, and hopefully I don’t think it changes anything in the bigger picture. But yeah, kinda crazy.

  15. Stop simping for the referees, it's was obvious even amongst the announcers and post game analysts that the tying goal should've been called back.

  16. Bruins are done. They're not doing what Florida did to them last year. No way they're coming back. Panthers are simply a better team.

  17. If this series ends up going 4-1 in a similar fashion to the Leafs vs Panthers last year, ill take that as a silver lining for leafs fans. Maybe Boston slew a dragon only to run smack dab into their demon

  18. I am rooting for the Panthers and am a bit uncomfortable with how the game panned out. Yes, they outplayed the Bruins and should have won, but i prefer victories without controversial calls. I also think Boston came out looking to be dirty, not tough. They were more concerned about getting even than they were about evening the series.

  19. Florida is just better. Wouldn’t surprise me at all if they win the East and the Stanley Cup. The best teams I’ve seen all playoffs have been Florida and Dallas, not the NYR.
