I knew this game was over once I saw the shots were 16-2 in favor of Dallas after the first period. As a Red Wings Fan go Stars!
Before this series started I said Stars in 7. I might have given the Avs too much credit

Dallas vs Colorado is always a good matchup especially for me they are my two favorite teams but Dallas really did just dominate this game plus the avs were already shaken up with the news of Nichushkin

As a Windsor Spitfires fan I am so happy for Wyatt Johnston. I was a bit angry when Dallas kept him as a 19-year-old but his talent just couldn't be denied.

The Stars simply beat the team in front of them. No control of the loss of both Nuke & Toews. But we’ve seen teams rally and come into games inspired. Credit to the Stars for squeezing the ice and preventing the Avs from getting into any semblance of their game. It’s not over yet, but I have confidence that the Stars can close it out tomorrow.
Shows the power of too much pressure. Dallas at home looked stiff, Colorado at home is completely frozen just squeezing the stick and smacking head to wall.

The Avs have shown up for a grand total of 4 maybe 5 periods in this series. They didn’t show up at all game 3 or 4. I’m not hating on Dallas or trying to take anything away from them (one of my brackets has them winning the cup, granted it didnt have them playing CO in the second round, but point being is I know they are a good team), but honestly it feels less like Dallas is winning, and more like the Avs are just losing. Which sounds redundant, but there is definitely a difference sometimes.

I think getting vegas in the first roind actually was the best thing that could happen it prepared us for Colorado but i think dallas and vegas were the best teams in the conference

Dallas is starting to look like a wagon. Honestly with how bad the Oilers have been outplaying Vancouver, and Edmonton's… umm… goaltending (?) I can't see how any team left in the west is sending Dallas home.
You could try a little bit to pretend to be neutral.
The Avs will end up getting another one, but I don't know if they win the series anymore.
