  1. Nichushkin out for personal reasons AGAIN? Wow. The same story in 2 consecutive years? Guess that's it for him, letting his team down twice…

  2. All this talent, Bednar needs to be fired, don’t care about Val’ s situation, of course wish best for him but they weren’t going to win anyway

  3. Make a change and put in Annunen. The team will play better guaranteed. It's the psychology of hockey (change goalies and lose a top player yet you somehow play better…happens all the time). Leafs played better without Matthews and ended up dominating Boston in game 5 and 6 to tie it up 3-3 series.

  4. Elephant in the room is not Val. Stop it. Coaching is the elephant in the room, or lack thereof. Coaching sucks, players showing no championship mettle, no heart, no grit, no fight. Top players been MIA. Inconsistency throughout the season, dumb decision making, lack of focus and execution. Leadership in the lockerroom is absent, etc.
I am pretty sure if we all saw the same symptoms in the NBA or NFL, everybody would be calling for a coach's head. But here, all I hear is crickets when Bednar has been absolutely awful and it keeps repeating, especially in this round. However, this team has been bad since the start of the season so it hasnt been bad only this round. They were up and down during the regular season.

  5. Rantanan dogging it yet again… just coasting on defense, and doing next to nothing elsewhere. What a joke.

  6. I get it, Val’s obviously going through some stuff, but the fact of the matter is he let himself and the team down AGAIN. Being an addict does not absolve you from taking responsibility for your actions. He needs help, I hope he gets it, but he should not be part of this team anymore. It’s sad but he’s proven he can’t be relied on when his team NEEDED him.

  7. Well what did that hockey player do. Nobody said what he did. 🤔 Well maybe because Dallas is defense is really good 👍. I'm not saying it's over anything can happen. Dallas just has to continuing playing hard they can't let up for nothing. Because the avalanche could be very dangerous. I told my wife during the season the avalanche are up and down they can be really hot and then they can play really bad. House right.😊

  8. No disappointment here. Everyone had the avs winning the series handily. They disregarded the Stars defense and depth with 8-20+ goal scorers and great defenseman. And Oettinger ain't no slouch

  9. That was the worst performance by an Avalanche team ever. They played harder in the lean years before Mackinnon was drafted. Almost half the game played before they registered their fifth shot on goal. Disgraceful. The ‘super stars’ on this team, have been absent the entire playoffs. The second and third lines won the series against Winnipeg.
Can the Avalanche just forfeit game 6? It would save themselves and fans a whole lot of embarrassment. It’s obvious at this point that the players don’t feel like playing anyway. One more game to lose Avalanche, and you can get on with whatever it is you really want to be doing.

  10. Sad ending to a season… I hope they somehow terminate Val's contract. For Val's personal sake, I hope he gets the help he needs.

  11. You also have to wonder… is Toews illness related to the hit he took in game 2? It's just a thought.

  12. Get rid of Nitchuskin, its enough, just enough… S'n't Rantanen for somone who give a fuck in PO.

  13. Get rid of the NHLPA. They’re adults. Know better. You make millions to play a sport. Do it. Stop using drugs and alcohol as an excuse. Just ban the player from the league. “Player Assistance” is such a sugarcoat. Why not just call it the druggie den?

  14. This game played out as expected all things considered. Brutal timing. I thought the AVS had a team that could win the thing again.

  15. Funny to me that everyone shat on Georgie so hard for a single bad game in the first game, and now he's the only Avs player on the ice still putting in the effort. Ignoring last nights loss, the avs don't have a goalie problem, the stars have a goalie solution

  16. Its over…they've never been competetive in this round…and its not even close. They will get kicked out AGAIN from Dallas. Very disappointing after a phenomenal run in round 1. Never thought, it would be this easy for Dallas. It just do not feels like playoff hockey from the avs

  17. Obvious Dallas wants the win move than the Avs. That’s what happens when you already won the cup two years ago.

  18. hats off to you Rudo for having to talk hockey when the game last night had nothing to do with hockey. Those players were crippled by the trauma of finding out Val was out. The gravity of the situation, happening for the second cup in a row, is just way too intense of an emotion and a stunning of the mind. That's tremendous trauma for a team, no way they could play at Stars level, it should be a psychology discussion, not a hockey discussion

  19. Has anyone thought that maybe, just maybe, Dallas is the better team? Im seeing a lot of other explanations but 0 credit given to the Stars and their adjustments. They kept the highest scoring, best home team to 1 goal in both home games.

  20. All im gonna say is they better kill us off tommorow otherwise it wont be good for them dont let the avs wake up
