  1. No collapse, Canucks decided to start playing. Depth. Talent. Grit. Tenders. Not even Demko in net.

  2. You really should change your name from Fanatic to Lunatic (The Oilers Lunatic). Oilers didnt "collapse". They were schooled by a better team.

  3. Vancouver is talented and very well coached they have been beating good teams that don't play hard for 60 minutes all year. They beat a tough Nashville Predators team and looks like they are showing up for this series too Edmonton needs to take them seriously. Going to be a good series.

  4. Fan of Edmonton🇨🇦 Oilers and Ottawa🇨🇦 Senators.
While I watched Oilers play LA Kings, I also watched Senators play LA Kings in the previous matches.
While I watch Oilers play Vancouver, I will also watch Senators play Vancouver in previous games.

  5. They played like a team with attention deficit disorder. Either they play with intensity, focus and discipline for a full 60 minutes or they lose. This is the run to the cup, stop effing with the lines, stop taking stupid retaliatory penalties, and stop playing sloppy.

  6. would be curious to know what Darnell Nurse's plus/minus was last night. He looked lost to me in his own zone and was caught flat footed a few times.

  7. As a die hard Oilers fan, It pissed me off that everyone was saying its gonna be a blowout series for Oil. That's a recipe for disaster. And what did we see that would indicate we would demolish them like every pundit has said? I think we got jinxed.

  8. Huge Canuck Fan here. Appreciate your honest take and feedback. We both hope for different outcomes but in the seriousness of life. This is entertainment and hope for many more games like this. It’s both of us that win. Regardless if Stanley is involved. I’ll be heart broken if the nucks collapsed. So take your licks but this series is far from over. Enjoy it while we can.

  9. Like I have said for 4 years.. Until they address the goaltending disaster, they won’t advance. The GM turns his head on the goaltending every year.

  10. Anyone who has an open mind and is familiar with the current version of the Oilers should know that they have the ability to play much better in Game Two and should expect nothing less than that. Moreover, rest be assured that Vancouver's coaching staff will be preaching this same message to their players.

  11. The oilers collapse? or the Canucks rose to the occasion and outplayed the Oilers at every turn to make that comeback. Can't ANY Oilers fan say that? I haven't seen anyone giving props to the Canucks for their play. THE CANUCKS ARE GOOD

  12. Nug makes that shot, and the game would have been over. The Preds are a far better team than LA, which spilled into this first game. In other words, the Oil and Van came into this first game in different 'battle modes'. Expect the Oil to be there for game 2. In large parts of the game, the Oil were not skating.

  13. Things that Oiler fans have kind of forgotten. The likely coach of the year is in Vancouver. So is the likely defenseman of the year. The series is also starting in Vancouver. Their scoring has come from everywhere in the lineup at critical times. They found a way to beat a tight checking and physical team with consistently good/great goaltending in the first round. The Oilers aren’t two of those three things as a team. We can all agree on that. The Canucks have the chance to get the advantage in goal simple by starting their actual #2. The Oilers already have their best in that department every game. So why the shock?
