  1. Whoever does the Penguins tributes needs to step their game up. Both Fleury and Kessel got garbage. P.K. Subban tribute from Montreal should be the standard.

  2. When you play in a Team for 3 years and get a tribute

But you also play on a team which you led in goals for 6 straight seasons.
    But dont get a tribute

  3. Late to the party, but I bought tickets to this game, specifically for this reason, about 6 months in advance.

I kid you not, the only reason we all stopped cheering was because the ref finally dropped the puck for the faceoff. They waited longer than usual, and we had no intentions of stopping if they would have let us keep going. Absolutely amazing.

  4. I still cant believe Rutherford traded a 2 time champion and elite goal scorer for f**kin Alex Galchenyuk

  5. I mean he was so money in both the runs especially 2016 where he should have won Conn Smythe, clutch after clutch whether it’s Washington or Tampa. Goals from nowhere, top shelf, power play, you name it. Miss you Phil in Pittsburgh!

  6. It's a nice reaction from the crowd, but nothing like what they gave Flower. Which honestly confuses me because for his four years there, Kessel never had the fans turn on him, whereas fans were ready to run Flower out of town after his playoff struggles in the years following the 2009 Cup. Not only that, but Kessel was instrumental for the 2016 & 2017 Cups – and really should've been the 2016 Conn Smythe – whereas Flower was largely absent in 2016, and benched in the 2017 conference finals. Don't get me wrong – I've always had Flower's back – but the difference in crowd reaction here is perplexing. No Phil Kessel, no back-to-back Cups.

  7. Pittsburgher here, miss Kessel tremendously. We know he was slowly declining but he was vital to our back to back championship run. One of my favorite players without a doubt, all the best to the man.

  8. This is Kissel. When you coming overrrrr to fixxxxx my sinkkkkkk. There's waaaaaaterrrrrr all overrrrrrr de placeeeeee.

  9. He should still be a penguin honestly but I don't think him and coach Sullivan got along at all

  10. I hated seeing him leave Toronto I was always a fan of him but glad he went on to win cups and have the success he deserved.
