More excuses for PLD. More excuses for Kaliyev. Saying that Brandt Clarke is some great future star and these guys like Turcotte and Thomas are going to do big things. None of that will happen. What was so great about Clarke? He has a good offensive instinct but is getting manhandled in the d zone in the games I witnessed. Maybe if he gets stronger… Kaliyev can get his shot off…in juniors, but when you have less time to aim and pick your spot and bigger faster d men collapsing on you, it's not as much fun. Turcotte and Thomas can bring some energy, but they are basically on the same level as JAD. They will make it on waivers as well. What about Kempe? He developed as a scorer while Morgan here says that the Kings are not developing that type of thing. All in all, they better get some real players in and some guys who can do real things and take winning seriously. Only Kopi, Drew, Kempe, and Talbot really are doing that. The other guys are playing games or barely holding a roster spot.Hire Dustin Brown, maybe as a coach.

Kaliev is a mini Ladue…someone who wouldn't know how to play D if it bit them in the butt… Giving Ladue another year with us is insanity…
Clarke is as close to ready as it comes and Thomas surprised me with his game… Not sure if this will be enough for us to get away from a hybrid 1-3-1…but it is a reason to get rid of it while on the PP at the very least…

Pay him out…trade him or face losing a bunch of paying fans… This isn't just me saying this… I've talked to a few in Las Vegas that can't stand to see in another losing spiral…and both are selling their excess Kings gear on eBay to downsize for another move… Both have flooded eBay with the jerseys of their most hated 25 Kings players all time… One went as far as selling his Blake BK jersey and keeping his Jere Karalahti Burger King… You know its a slap in the face when you'd rather keep a drug dealer's jersey than the one of a traitor to his own team and former fans…
Robitaille wasn't so bad as he told us that he wished that he was on the Kings holding the Cup up and he was giving us some hope… In 2011 he carried out his promise to us (and should have been three years in a row) but you didn't expect it with the team he paid to ice immediately… It wasn't till Murraybwas fired did I have any hope for a Cup win (Yes I made the four word declaration at a Salvation Army kettle that year "THE CUP IS OURS!!!"). The Sharts fan said if they win the Cup… I'll put $50 in your kettle next season…which he gladly paid that bet off at my kettle… He asked during the 2013 – 2014 season and I said that we're one player away from winning it all… He said that he wasn't going fall into my trap this time as the last time cost him $50… The kettle season of 2014 came and he put another $50 in… I just mentioned a hugher authority told me…
You know hard it was losing Bob as a PBP guy…imagine losing Nick as well… Faust was a verbal abortion at best and storytime with a tosser began… We didn't win Scheiße with him either… Nick is a stabilizer until we can find someone good to fill his shoes… Last season I had hopes of us winning another Cup and a monkey wrench called Ladue wrecked those plans…
My biggest concern with if Luc and Blake are seriously considering just running back Hiller as coach again next season is, there was a media availability session earlier this season where once Todd was terminated and Hiller was promoted and then they brought aboard DJ Smith as one of his Assistsnts, Hiller stated that Smith would handle the 5v5 play and Hiller would continue to focus on and oversee the Special Teams units.
Well, come playoff time, guess what units 💩 the bed? Yep, the Special Teams units, BOTH OF THEM even. Now Hiller is supposed to take the team to the next level, whether it's giving him the chance to tweak what they've long been going with or going with a new system altogether, after he just completely dropped the ball on his side of things in the playoffs?

What’s the confusion regarding Arty? He’s 6’2” with size but’s not physical, he’s a low energy liability defensively and yeah he’s got a great shot, but can’t hit the net…and that’s the idea right…right? SMH.

Luc is a bobble head at this point and Blake has just full on committed to doing the same damn thing over and over again expecting different results.
This is back to the mediocre days of Luc and Blake as players but now they are the stewards of this dysfunctional ship.
Personally the whole fire Blake thing in my opinion is just stupid and reminds me of the most toxic fan base in sports Leaf fans, Blake took a team with no draft picks, no prospect, and in dire need of a rebuild, and in 2 seasons he had the envy of the league prospect wise, and just 4 seasons after he tore the team down to concrete pad not even the studs were left, LA made the playoffs and has been a consistent playoff team since, hell their last 3 seasons have been 99, 104, and 99 point seasons, which is the most successful 3 season period for LA EVER, yes i know the cup is all that matters, but are we really serious about firing the guy who built the leagues best prospect pool in 2 seasons time and turned a lottery team into the most successful regular season team in club history and lets face it Blake has not parted with any assest that wasn't expendable even if the trade(s) haven't been exclusive wins they really haven't been losses either, though the PLD trade isn't looking real hot right now, it's still just the 1st season with him, Blake deserves to see this through, tgat being said i do think LA needs to get meaner and nastier, Blake should look into targeting 3 players Brady Tkachuk, Lawson Crouse, and Kurtis Mcdermit and be willing to trade all but in my opinion Byfield, Turcotte, Akil, and at this point Laferriere, keep those 4 but virtually every other prospect should be availabe though I'd be more than a little upset if either Andre Lee or Aatu Jamsen were traded i am really high on both of those guys
Eddie and Russell I ask you both and all Kings fans specially the season ticket holders to get together and have a major meeting or a protest to save the Kings organization from Blake and Luc who are completely destroying this organization!!!! PLD buyout before this summer and Firing of Blake and Luc needs to be done immediately!!

The Kings are stagnant. They don’t have the fire in the belly to compete with the true cup contenders. They let Edmonton walk all over them this last year. Edmonton made the Kings look awful and ugly, and the Kings let them do it.
Blake and Luc can’t be trusted. They are too buddy-buddy and don’t project command and control. They aren’t respected around the NHL as hard butts or talented in making deals.
The fact the team collapsed in December and January reveals there was a total mess inside the organization and clubhouse. Their ugly tail spin was a symptom of major problems in the locker room and management front office.
There are now several real top NHL team stacked with talent and playing like cup contenders. If the Kings don’t shake things up, they never can match up with the great teams now loaded with talent.
The Kings have no good options, I do not think a buyout is the answer. The answer is to get him a sports psychiatrist that can help him become more confident and more assertive. Then in practice get him to play better. I just can't believe I have to say this considering what they are paying him and how long he's been in the NHL. RIP KINGS.
Why did Blake quickly dismiss the PLD buyout talk ? It’s pretty simple actually…. That would be an immediate admission that HE made a terrible trade and signing! For a man trying to hold on to his job it makes perfect sense he would want to double down and keep PLD. It’s nothing more than a selfish decision made for himself to not even consider a buyout vs. what might be best for the organization. So disappointed in our spineless ownership group !!! Like Russ said, Blake, Luc and Emerson are all part of the “Good Old Boys Club” where Kings brass demands accountability from players, but not for themselves. Dispicable !!!
