   It was unlikely Rod was going to become available and a longshot that if he was available he would head to NJ, but now that’s another name off the list.

   Who is the top prospect at this point?

   Imagine being awarded with an extension for another playoff choke job. The Canes roster is only going to get worse to.

   Fair enough, he’s the best coach in the league as far as i’m concerned. Canes would be dumb to let him go.

   Looks like Woodcroft or Keefe as our next guy. I think both are an upgrade over Lindy but can they run a better defensive system?

   Gotta be real. All hope of them firing Rob was pretty much gone once they avoided the sweep. Even so, I’m not even sure this is great for the canes either, hasn’t gotten over the hump and the team (on paper) doesn’t seem like it’ll be improving talent wise
