  1. Yes a good year .didn't the pieces & players to make a good playoff run.need to adress faceoff man.top centre that can score & help pasta.need more speed players on the forecheck.goalies & d men solid.love ❤my bruins .keep it rollin

  2. Exceeded expectations, good cap space next year, without the raise in the cap by the league and tradable pieces make it look like a promising 2024-25.

  3. Let's face it: last season the Bruins went all in by adding Bertyzzi, Orlov, and Hathaway. They weren't able to get more guys this time. Next year will be better.

  4. Proud of how far the boys made it this year with this roster. Panthers at theyre absolute peak barely beat us at our absolute worst… can’t wait to take them out in dominant fashion next year!

  5. Considering what they lost in terms of experienced players and the fact that they are 'rebuilding'
they done good. I never expected a cup but did expect at least a 2nd round.
Saw some great new talent and am looking forward to next season.
And hey….They did beat the Leafs…..again. LOL. Go BRUINS.

  6. 7 too many men penalties in this series alone.. how many in the Toronto series? Can anybody explain to me who’s to blame here? Thought that it was always the coaches fault.. if so.. do the Bruins have Jim as coach going forward?? I think it’s time to make on if he’s the one to blame.. plus the amount of line juggling he did was crazy..

  7. Nobody had the Bruins getting 109 points this season. Losing Bergeron, Krejci, Bertuzzi, Hall & Orlov. They really went as far as they could, Swayman was elite and put the goalie rotation talk away. Hopefully the salary cap relief and trading Ullmark frees up $26 million. Debrusk is young and in his prime, acquiring a top six center, a tough defenseman. Would love Stamkos. So looking forward to upgrade his team in the offseason.

  8. Once again, the Bruins hoofed all those dumb pre-season projections from on-air heads about being a "bubble team" right in the figs. 47-20-15. "bubble" team. Okay. These playoffs were a massive coming out party for Swayman. We knew he was good but this guy is a stud who, once his new deal gets sorted, will be the number one in Boston's net for a decade. Management must assemble a championship roster to not waste his championship caliber goaltending. Lohrei showcased himself as a poised, up and coming D-guy with the best yet to come. So, Sweeney has over $20 million in cap space, right? He's been GM for years now and upper management will be looking to see how he improves the roster or this time next year, it could be his head in the noose.

  9. DeBrusk is just too exhausting. He needs to be zapped with a cattle prod every shift to get anything out of him. Let him walk and be someone else’s problem.

  10. The Bruins window has closed. Last year was their best chance to win it all. They had all the horses and couldn't. This year's team isn't as deep. Marchand is starting to age out, as 35 is getting up there for a forward, and it's now visible in his play. Coyle and Fredric have plateaued and there isn't much upside to them. They'll be losing Ullmark next season, and yes Swayman is incredible but there'll be a lot of pressure on his backup. Pastrnak may get antsy though, as who wants to waste the prime years of their career on a team in descent? Biggest mistake was letting Bruce Cassidy go. Seven too many men on the ice penalties is unacceptable and the fault rests 100% with the coach. Moving forward expect a slow decline into the middle tier of the league. Don't see them ever tanking like Montreal though and one day they'll start the ascent again, but it will take some time.

  11. I see Florida having a very difficult time against the Rangers. New York I think is a little better in every position, especially in goal. Reinhart and Verhaege have great regular season stats but they disappear at times for long stretches of games. On the other hand, you keep hearing the names of the Rangers' top forwards on almost every shift. It sucks having to root for the Rangers though.

  12. You learn more from your losses than you ever do by winning. Well Bruins learned a lot about themselves with a thirteen playoff game run this season. Upsetting Toronto and going toe to toe with Florida illustrated what is needed for next season and beyond. The rebuild continues with Bruins learning on the job. As a loyal Bruins fan for over half the team’s 100th anniversary I ain’t going nowhere. Go Bruins!

  13. Too many men on the ice should be a focus in training camp. Bench transition management needs work. The issue ranges somewhere between over “enthusiasm” and the inability to count players when the game is in motion…

  14. They lost because they didn’t score the times when the have a brake away. Monty bye bye – Pasta and McAvoi was really bad

  15. I get it, when the Bruins had their chances it was because they just couldn't finish it, but when the Panthers had their chances they were shut down by Swayman.

  16. 2 fails by Montgomery to much line mixing how do played get used to playing with each other.swayman was the only bright spot.

  17. Unfair how the run ended, but Swayman will rise again. Seriously, believe a Conn Smythe is in his future. Thanks Connor for your great coverage. Enjoy the off season.
