Thanks for the content nick, keep up the good work! I'd like to see Pickering in the AHL. I want these "kids" to start pushing and being pushed. Playing with better players and competition should raise his level.
I feel like Pickering plateaued a little last year. The injuries probably had a role to play into. I don't feel like he's ready for pros yet. Another season in the WHL would probably help. At least one season at WBS would be ideal too. I still think he has the potential to be solid top 4 guy someday, just need to see a little more.
I hope Belliveau is in WBS this season.
i was initially excited about the graves signing but that was before the EK65 trade. I was surprised how ineffective Graves was in the system this year. Would a team like Utah be interested since they currently have no defensemen on the NHL roster, are below the cap floor and have more than $40M in cap space? For the pens, Shayne Gostisbehere is a UFA as is Montour, OEL, Zadorov, Skjei, Grzelcyk, sean walker and brenden dillon. Maybe one of those guys is a better fit.
PO Joseph is a hairy bar of used shower soap .
Trade Graves and POJ to Utah. A new start for Graves and a chance to develop for POJ and get some picks and cap space. Everyone wins.
