Missing since Game 5. Look like the 2021 Canucks

  2. Pormock

In their defense they had several great chance in the 1st that barely missed the net. But in the 2nd they have been very bad

  3. Necessary_Sea_2109

Oilers signed Chris Kyle before the game

  4. dragosn1989

The right Oilers team showed up. Fighting for every puck 200’…I hope they can keep it up. Boeser has been a bigger part of this Canucks team than given credit too.

  5. Euripidoze

They did well to get this far. Now without Boeser a miracle is required.

  6. Night_Hawk-2023

Actually have been missing for much of the playoffs. Shown up here n there but man, getting out shot every game is embarrassing. Not sure how they expect to win with single digit shots over halfway through the game 7. Seriously wtaf?!

  7. JarmaBeanhead

They’re at TEN now!!!!!! (8:37 left in the second)

  8. Blastonite

I was excited for game 7. But this is pathetic. Heavily out shot. Didn’t do anything on their 4m pp. Had a shot against them on their 4m pp. Should’ve put this game in Edmonton. Feel bad for the Vancouver fans who paid to be there for this. Maybe something changes in the third but I’m not holding my breath.

Edit~ they looked better in the third but when you fail to show up for 2 periods you can’t expect a win imo.

  9. Ginger-Beefcake

They forgot it’s hockey 2 games ago and it sucks

Canucks just look out of gas. And losing Boeser means we have no actual top six winger on the team. We traded kuzmenko, petey’s winger for Lindholm who’s been dynamite as our third centre but Petey ( who’s been bad himself ) has two wingers who’ve combined for 1 goal this entire playoff run.

Edmonton’s experience finally kicked in. They’ve stepped up and have answered the bell. Canucks just cant smother them forever, it took the wheels from under them.

  11. wrt_reddit

Leafs want another playoff round, this time against Canucks!

  12. FancyCaterpillar8963

Shake your nerves and play the sport like you want the cup. No shot on a 4 min pp ! , missed opportunities they look out of gas.

  13. lilkrow73

Do they know it’s Christmas time at all?

  14. Mailman1974

3-0 now, oilers are dominating them

  15. Kuranes_

Silovs does, the rest of the team not so much

  16. Apprehensive-Tea4881

It’s like watching The Mountain eye gouge the Red Viper now.

  17. seataccrunch

Where the hell did ELIAS PETTERSSON go? What is the story on his complete fall off a cliff

  18. Garland has been superb but

Yeah they may’ve set a game 7 ‘record’ with just two shots in the first period

With a 4 minute PP no less!

  19. 2min4roughing

Vancouver PD/FD on high alert rn lol

  20. Toddable72

I think someone forgot to tell them the game start time was 6pm. They literally seemed to wake up at 7:30.

  21. mulder00

It’s 3-0 so yes. They don’t score in Game 7’s.

  22. yourneighborandrew

Vancouver should stop worrying about decriminalizing drugs and worry about decriminalizing scoring goals in game 7

  23. Ta-veren-

Like all of period one was dump the puck in and fail to go get it.

  24. Joshybeast93

This is a common game 7 strategy for the Canucks. Get blanked.

  25. nucksinvic

Looks like Travis Green is behind the bench. Hope the goalie bails them out and they get timely goals.

  26. Reditall12

They are saving their energy for game 8.

  27. deepfriedpoutine

As an outside fan, this is such a letdown of a game 7. I guess that’s what you get when your coach makes terrible decisions and can’t get the team going. Truly pathetic from the Canucks players and coaching staff to just roll over and die in front of your goalie.

  28. Oxfordallumni

Canucks choked so hard, it seems they don’t even care. Very poor outing

  29. rhunter99

Does the crowd know they’re in a game 7? The arena is silent.

  30. CrippleSlap

Canucks lay an egg in game 6…and now in game 7 lay ANOTHER egg.

  31. profounddimwit

Have fun against a galvanized stars teal boys. You are Cana durrrs last hope

  32. Lightz29

I mean this is where you can really see the difference between an experienced team in the playoffs vs a relatively younger team

  33. MVpizzaprincess

Silovs is the only one that showed up.

  34. NessGoddes

Ceci, Zack scored. No joke, it’s not the players, it’s the leafs as org who is cursed

  35. unbannedcoug

I honestly blame Rick for preaching the team to not create missed shots. The entire PP is afraid to shoot already. Just fucking bomb it. If the shit gets blocked that’s a good thing if you are constantly bombarding them. You don’t create chaos if you don’t shoot it into the crowd. We are a PDO machine dammit

  36. Fictioneer

Stop passing the puck and shoot dammit!!!

  37. S0L-Goode

Sleep walking this whole game. No support along the boards. Weak passes. Can’t handle the puck.

  38. Th4t5-Ju5tOK

Game feels dirty, like watching a heavy weight pounding on an amputee. Not much to celebrate. If the Canucks had their whole team, it’d be a fair fight. 2 goalies lost and now Boeser. Sad ending to a hard fought season.

  39. hardware1197

Lulled them into a false sense of security….

  40. drstu3000

Do the oilers know the game is 3 periods, not 2?

  41. notsohappystarryeyes

    It was almost a comeback…

  42. Psychological-Way116

Oilers deserved the win, Canucks forgot how to play hockey until the last 8 minutes of the game. Frustrating.

  43. CohoGravlax

Everyone knows we stop playing hockey when the bike park opens.
