Now that's how you play a 3rd period. The team did have me worried a bit, but we responded exactly how we needed to. Resilience has been our story all season, and once again we showed that tonight. Kreider knows how to lead, he's been a blueshirt for over a decade. His name will be in the rafters, such a great performance by him tonight. The ECF will be even harder to win, but I believe we have what it takes regardless. On to the next round, LGR!!!

This will NEVER be forgotten. No matter what happens after this. Chris Kreider and Igor put the entire roster on their back in the 3rd. They refused to be beaten. The Canes arguably were the best team in the league. I still believe if the Canes won this series they would be Cup champs.
