Honestly the defence since January first has been excellent. Best defensive team in the league since then giving up the least amount of goals, our top guys need to be scoring more
Great analysis here. There is way too much emotional overreacting from our fans right now. They are too fixated on the team making the playoffs instead of the ultimate goal. Our fans need to accept the fact that this team needed to learn how to play team defense this year. If they don’t continue learning it then it doesn’t even matter if we make the playoffs. We’re not winning a cup playing like we did last year. We are still getting a lot of shots on goal every single game, so we are really only a few adjustments away from becoming a dominant team. And yes, like someone else wrote we are the best defensive team statistically since January! Let’s finish the season with that. We’re not leaving the goalies out to dry as much.
