  1. What hapenned? They didn't have Boeser. I'm for the Oilers, but with Boeser the comeback might have hapenned. I won't mention Demko, because Silovs has played absolutely great in the serie

  2. If Canucks played as hard as they did at the final ten mins, they might have had a chance to win. GGs though. Oilers just played harder from start to finish.

  3. The Avalanche were a great preparatory series for Dallas in anticipation of playing Edmonton. Dallas also has truly battletested goalkeeping as well. Dallas in 6.

  4. The stars weren’t good enough and lack of shots. Canucks were set up to go on a feel run. They did this to themselves

  5. The Canucks have always had confidence problems that can haunt any team that has never won a cup. With that said, they were a better team this year than we have witnessed in the past.

  6. Dallas in 5, Dallas ain't Vancouver with 10 shots on net hopefully we'll finally see how useless both there goalies really are, but Dallas has too watch for for penalty shots cause Mr. Stud (brown) will make em pay 😂

  7. This is a great opportunity for the Oilers to finish their redemption arc and for McDavo to get his first cup. Oilers vs Rangers finals.

  8. I think Vancouvers problem is they treated Edmonton like Nashville, that series was WAY more defensive, a lot of collapsing to the net to block passes and shots but Oilers are an offensive powerhouse if you give them that extra time and space and especially in game 6 you can really see how thats beneficial for Edmonton. Vancouver didnt properly adjust to Edmontons different style of play again really evident in the last 2 games of this series.

  9. Great series, but I hope Van fans learn some humility after this honestly the worse fan base in Canada, don't deserve shit LETS GO OILERS

  10. Biggest reason the Canucks lost was because we were playing to not lose for 50 minutes. We couldn’t generate anything. And not having Boeser really hurt us. So yeah I’d say the healthier team won this series.

  11. Canucks clearly didn’t want it as bad as the oilers , you can see it in every play. Oilers rushed them and fought for the puck every second it seemed like , Canucks play way too passive at times. And once they to get going it’s usually all too late. Good series though

  12. Their complete abandonment of game 6 could have played a factor too. They never even pulled the goalie. Did nothing to try and get a spark to bring into game 7. Just gave up completely. That’s foolish in the playoffs I think. Momentum means so much and can be hard to just build up from scratch. If they at least went down fighting, they could keep that going potentially. Instead they just played the same way they did in a lot of game 6 for most of game 7. It’s not everything, but a contributing factor it is for sure I think.

  13. I’m canucks fan that lives in Edmonton so this was the battle I didn’t want to happen but at the end both teams played fantastic this year and it showed that Vancouver smoking them during regular season doesn’t mean shit and Edmonton gonna be in a really deep battle with dallas

  14. Hughes and Pettersen are too small for playoff hockey and are easily neutralized.

  15. whoa.. that 3 secs left TJ Miller shot looked like was going in if it wouldn't be for Z leg

  16. A great series but game 7 was a great let down. Canucks had 2 shots in the first period, then a 4 minute power play without a single shot on net? I thought this was game 7, do or die. It’s obvious the better team won this series.

  17. lets be honest, do the canucks really deserve Silovs with their absolutely terrible 40 minutes of not showing up to help him out? any other goalie and this game would have ended 6-2 instead of 3-2. with how the canucks played in games 6 and 7 you have to wonder how the hell they made it to round 2.

  18. They had 5 shots through 30 mins. That tells you everything you need to know about them

  19. Pettersen was a let down, but honestly it was a team effort. Just so weird how they were so hot/cold. They have the ability to dominate, but for whatever reason would just go long periods without wanting it. Seemed like a lack of drive to me. Oilers wanted it more. Amazing year, lots of great things to pull out of that season, just need to add some scoring to the mix and they will be unstoppable.

  20. Silovs was amazing in net and probably the reason why this series went to 7 games, as a oilers fan good game canucks. You guys played amazing, 2 great teams going at it doesnt get any better then that.

  21. as an oilers fan i would rather play against demko just cause as i see it silovs came into this series ready to make his mark with everything to lose he was playing for his life between the posts i just feel he brought more passion than demko wouldve and i think he really showed he belongs theres gonna be alot of teams looking to pick him up as a backup and maybe even a starter he stood on his head that entire series the mans an animal

  22. Tocchet preaches quality and quantity with SOG. You can't do that in the playoffs in a must win. The problem with Vancouver is they were too passive. Sure their defense is great but they need better offense. Trading Kuzmenko was a mistake.

  23. Been loving these breakdowns! Was hoping this video would cover Stars and Avs game 6 though with Duchene's "goalie interference"… Hopefully that vid is still coming 🙂

  24. Canucks are the most jinxed team with injuries. And like the sabres they will never win a cup ..what do you mean no quit? They quit in game 6..pathetic outing. The owners are a joke don't spend money on marquis forwards..the best forward thevve had in 30 years is marcus naslund.. messier didnt count.. its a loser franchise for a loser city.
