Silayev at 3 for Anaheim does make sense to me as I think he would eventually be better than Zellweger for sure considering the roles they likely would be needing. Saying that though that's probably at least 3-4 years down the line so who knows. They definitely are lacking a physical top 4 dman on that left side. I could see Silayev being available as low as 6th so if that's their guy they maybe could drop back and swap picks with either Utah or Montreal
I'm fine with the Sens drafting Buium at 7 he's probably the best player available, wouldn't mind if they took Catton or parekh either but I think they can still get a really good RHD with the Boston pick if Emery or Mews are available
Lol what is this infatuation with Canadiens and Demidov? Do you honestly think he will fall down to Montreal? Is every single journo/hockey personality astro turfing this? Also, how poor is the Canadiens management to reach with Rheinbacker last year when it was seen as a forwards heavy draft, only to try to get a forward this year in a D-man heavy 1st round with a Demidov pick.

Helenius would be such an Yzerman pick with his recent selections having high floors low ceilings but I definitely agree I'd be shocked if he was passed on by that many teams

Other than the Celebrini pick, I hate this mock for the Sharks. Solberg at 14 is a reach, Hemming isn't terrible but with a guy like Mews who fits a bigger need going a few picks later it doesn't make sense. Marcus Gidlof at 42 as the first goalie off the board is truly nuts. Ranked 10th among EU goalies by central scouting, he'll probably be there 101 picks later at 143 if they want him (or at 132 if they want a bit sooner) and might be available at 194. Kiviharju goes right after him and Freij is still on the board and they take a massive reach on a goalie.
I’m a ducks fan and I geniunely think Anton Silayev is terrible. Like he is just so bad at everything. He’s way worse than minty and zelly and a little worse than lacombe. He’s geniunely awful in my opinion, shouldn’t even go in the first round. If we pass on Demidov for that absolute loser I’m becoming a kings or sharks fan.

If Helenius would fall to the Wings (which I really doubt) that would make alot of sens even in positioning because Helenius is also Right winger he has apparently some versatility which is great I'd absolutly love the pick even if my favorite is MBN but If Helenius would fall I'd be more than happy

I feel like Cole Hutson goes in the first round considering he was by far the best D man at the U18's while playing injured guy apparently he didn't practice at all during that tourney only played games because of the injury and still managed to be the best d man by far.

It’s 100% possible for Demidov to fall to 5th… The Hawks want to build a winner and getting a RD like Levshunov puts you on that path in my opinion… The Hawks have not seen Demidov play at all in person apparently and Demidov also plays in a weaker league… I’m not saying Demidov is going to be a bust, But at second overall A RD who you have seen live many times compared to a winger you have never seen before is risky and teams definitely think like that…. Anaheim has already said a RD is their priority this summer and I believe they take Silayev because he’s massive and plays the right side, Columbus tired LAINE DOWN THE MIDDLE THIS SEASON 😂😂 they will take Lindstrom in my opinion… At 5 habs would take Demidov…

If Sens draft Buium who I think is a star in the making I'd have to imagine Staois is going to move on from Chychrun and Chabot once Buium is ready to play in the NHL. Buium + Greentree + Vanacker would be a slam dunk first 2 rounds imo.
