Berkly Catton is a master at scoring goals in motion.
Off the rush. Popping out into the high slot. Cutting to the net, slipping down for a one-t…
They say variety is the spice of life, and Catton embraces that motto with his finishing ability. pic.twitter.com/g4vIpV6c23

Everything I’ve read about him makes me think he’s our pick if he’s there at 11. Sounds exactly like the type of player Adams values.
My evaluation of Berkly Catton is completely blinded by the fact that I just can’t imagine a guy named Berkly Catton being good in the NHL.
He is a through and through playmaker that excels off the rush. I love his play style in juniors but I don’t see it translating to the nhl unless he massively improves. Like an ostlund with a higher ceiling lower floor
Not another dwarf thanks. He may be an amazing player but we need variety. The best teams are able to play hard or fast or a mix of both. Right now we can only play one style.
5’11 » 180 18 years old. Trade. The. Pick. We have 72 forward prospects… who knows how, when, or if they will pan out? Bring in a Jenner, Konecny, Vatrano, Crouse. Players with experience and NHL success already. If this team wants to move forward with Benson-Thompson-Tuch Peterka-Cozens-Quinn as a top 6 in a win now situation, I’m all for it… because 2 seasons ago, this was a top 5 scoring team with guys like that. What do you do with Krebs, Rosen, Kulich, Savoie, Ostlund, Wahlberg, Kisakov, Poltapov, Neuchev all under 24 years old and a top 6 all under 28 years old (all hypothetical on a Skinner buyout) but holy hell you have your goalies in UPL, Levi now. Paying LH defenseman close to 30 million with Johnson, Novikov, Komarov looking serviceable in the future. What are we looking to continue stockpiling and why? Get NHL talent and win.
