Im not saying this wasnt a partial miscommunication but for dallas’ defense that’s part of dallas’ strat that asked them so good defensively(mainly last season) when otter is at his peak.
Otter is one of the best goalies vs ranged shots but has trouble with in close and personal goals.
Their defense is mainly based on keeping players away from the net front.
Last year in the wcf vegas had to work hard as he’ll just to get some net front presence and when they did they dominated.
All 3 of them just tunneled on the puck. Pretty sad.
