As an oiler fan I hate the fact I have to defend how good the Canucks are now because Stars fans thought nucks were "babyshit soft on a 3rd string goalie" and will roll Oilers. Silovs is better than Otter. There I said it. The Vancouver Canucks are good.

"Not because they didnt try hard enough." Thats actually percisely the problem. They only seem to show up for the third period. In their last 2 games they had so few shots its a miracle they scored any. The injuries of their star players and their tendency to dig themselves into a hole that they can triumphantly bounce back from occasionally meant the outcome was only logical. Im looking forward to the next regular season for the canucks but make no mistake. This was DEFINITELY an issue of not trying hard enough when it mattered most. Especially in game 6.

We should have raised the cup. Su we can say we're the first and last team of the millenia in Canada to do so.
Despite the loss, can we just appreciate how fucking good Artūrs Šilovs was? He had some ridiculous saves against Edmonton and Nashville, and was the only one who actually showed up to play in game 7. The only reason the Canucks season didn't end with a 6-2 loss is because of this man. They'd be incredibly stupid to not give him the backup role next season.
P.S. The Vancouver Canucks are STILL good.
