Stars have won every series after losing game 1 🙂
mcdavid didnt celebrate a bunch after the goal because he is so focused on winning the cup
All I been hearing all week is Dallas is soo deep, Stars are soo deep, Ottinger is the 2nd coming. In Game 1, Oilers owned them for 75 minutes. Took 10 minutes of penalties, giving up 8 shots.
Lombergini vs Rempe but Lombo wins and it backfires.
Officials are annoying…I am here to complain about the officials last night, and I don’t care if it’s a lame excuse. The calls on Evan Bouchard, Evander Kane, and Dylan Holloway were incredibly soft; furthermore, they refused to keep that standard throughout the game. Stuart Skinner was slashed on the mask by Tyler Seguin—no call. Miro Heiskanen held Connor McDavid’s arm on the boards—no call. The McDavid high-stick was clearly the right call, but the problem is how late they made that decision. There was no indication that they were going to call it, then the replay was played on the Jumbotron. Shortly after, the refs huddled together and made the decision after seeing the replay… ridiculous. Thankfully, the Oilers are a good five-on-five team that doesn’t rely on the power play every night as people believe. But, last night game 1 it’s a BIG KARMA for some Referees who did bets a big money, so the Stars will the game. Well, NOT for the Edmonton Oilers who played smart hockey last night. OILERS in 6 💪🏆
I dunno, IS DALLAS?
I can't wait until McDavid is a free agent. He will be coming back home to Toronto 4 sure. He'll look great in a Leafs uniform.
The Leafs are just unlucky. They are a good team but are just unlucky to play in the division of death with so many great teams. We need to cut them some slack. Having to play powerhouse teams like Boston, Florida, Tampa Bay multiple times every year makes it really tough for the Leafs to come out of the division.
Oilers better play defense with Skinner in net.😅
McDavid is a pro not a hero. He acts like he's been there before and that's one thing that sets him apart from the clowns who jump into the glass. He knows it's just one game.
Odonkey is so clueless.
When the likes of Connor McDavid sing your praises, it's more than just a compliment—it's a testament to your brilliance on the ice. Evan Bouchard isn't just a player; he's a strategic mastermind, navigating the game with intellect and finesse that leaves even the best in awe. And let's not forget the powerhouse lineup surrounding him: with talents like Leon, Zack, Nugg, Kane, and the seasoned veteran Mattias Ekholm, this team isn't just formidable—it's a force to be reckoned with. Each player brings a unique skill set, creating a synergy that's nothing short of extraordinary. When they hit the ice, opponents tremble, knowing they're up against a true hockey behemoth. This team isn't just a contender; it's a roaring beast, hungry for victory with every puck drop. Watch out, NHL—these Oilers are ready to conquer!
Saying that looking at an iPad after a play is all vain is such a terrible take.
I agree with O-Dog on Rampe. He is not the game changer. Huge amount of hype on him.
Ya well he did it!! go NY
you know why he didn't celebrate too hard? cuz in his mind he already scored the one he missed, it was all formality from then on.
Stars have pressure. Go down 0-2 and It’s over.
Congrats Oilers in avoiding the sweep. Everyone beats Dallas in game 1s. They didn't show up per usual in game 1 and still the Oil barely beat them with their goalie playing the best game of his life.
I disagree with the iPad talk. Sometimes players want to see the systems where the players set up how they react to your plays where off your head you might not be aware of that
Oilers need to learn how to keep their foot on the throat. No letting up after the win this time!
Are the Oilers ready for a close series? Was anyone out east watching the Oilers v. Canucks series? C’mon boys.
Shows u how focused and how humble mcdavid is. A true teammate who gives his teammates the props
