Arguments are good, it means your audience is engaged. If you said something that was just objectively wrong people would just leave.
The core of the McDavid thing was implying that it was all McDavids fault. The core of the lashback is that there's an issue with the, "you're always in control of your own stick" rule where 3 guys can pile on McDavid, intentionally hold his stick down with their own, then get him a penalty when he inevitably has to fight back against the soft holding.

The Oilers are easy to stop, Micdavid no points yesterday and the team scored one goal. Stop Micd and you win. Also, watching the Rangers/Florida series, even if the Oilers made it they will get steamrolled in the SCF. Shesterkin and Bob make Skinner look like a Jr. B. goalie so basically the Oil would have no chance against either team.

Honestly i don`t care which team you cheer for, but i would have made a point about this series so far that the refs have been lousy and very home biased.
Both teams played pretty even hockey, but EDM got the majority of calls against in both games.
PP is EDMs best weapon. And the Oilers went for soft calls, why Dallas didn`t.
You could pick out the scene where one of the Dallas players is diving in front of the EDM net and grabs his face, while clearly the contact was elsewhere.

Hey Eck, Knights fan here. We the people of Las Vegas have no ill will towards any fan group. We just have a strong distaste of San Jose Sharks and Evander Kane. Most of us know that we have been blessed with the Knights and understand the NHL business at times.

As a stars fan, I respect that you pointed out that you don’t cover the stars as often and didn’t try to act oblivious. In saying that, I know we’ll get our turn in the spotlight when the stars hoist the cup in MSG this year.

Dallas beat the Vegas Knights and then the Avalanche … Dallas is no joke, they just need to have their goalie be their first star every game.
As an oiler fan the issue i took was it felt like you were rubbing salt in the wounds of everything we as fans have been pissed off about this playoffs. The reffing has been absolutely atrocious with mcdavid being held and hooked everytime hes on the ice but never gets a call, yet the oilers-especially in game 1 vs Dallas-were getting called for baby shit soft calls and dallas didnt get called for a single penalty except a bench minor for too many men.
Then you come out and start talking about how undisciplined Connor is, and a lot of us were already a powder keg of anger about to sound off. This narrative of dallas being "so disciplined" they never take penalties is completely skewing the reffing and irs turning into a self fulfilling prophecy
As a newer hockey fan who got into hockey because Seattle Kraken made it to the 2023 playoffs, you and Hockey Psychology are the channels I check out when I crave Hockey content I appreciate your videos Eck so much and one of my parents used to play hockey nonprofessional has also helped me out with understanding Hockey as well keep these videos coming Eck.
