Panthers are finished. This is the end of their run. A nice 5 year run with a Stanley Cup final appearance.
The Rangers are winning every close game. They are masters of the overtime. They are still very young with all their players signed long term. This might be the beginning of a synastic run
No defense and if the Panthers had the team they did last year they would sweep the Rangers.Rangers improved from last year and the Panthers went down hill.

Florida will HAVE TO win game 4 to tie the series 2-2, here are some post game points i thought I would share.
1. Defense must be better going into game 4, we need consistency from our D and our team D needs to be better, at least 3/5 goals NYR scored tonight were due to defensive breakdowns.
2. Some players need to be better going into game 4, OEL and Kulikov were bad, Tarasenko is living up to his ghost status in the playoffs, and players like Bennett and Tkachuk can squeeze a little more out of their play in my opinion
3. Scoring Chances. We had too many scoring chances blown in this game, and the rangers won due to being opportunistic while we blew way too many chances this game, we need to have better finishing otherwise we will be constantly playing from behind.
4. Consistency. We played an AWFUL 2nd period and is one of the weaknesses we could never overcome since the TBL series, we have to play a full 60 minutes and not be sat dumbfounded why we lost when we couldn't play a full game going into the 3rd period down 4-2.
And Igor steals a game. Panthers fans blaming the team and Bob in a game they absolutely dominated is peak hockey ignorance. Shesterkin stole this game. "Yeah but he gave up 4 goals" – Did you see that third period??? the quality chances that the Panthers had? I said it in the beginning what this series will come down to, Which Goalie can steal a game, who can stay out of the box, and who wants it more. Pressure is all on Florida next game. They cannot go down 3-1 heading back to NY. If they trail at any point in game 4, I think the discipline will break down due to frustration and they will start taking bad penalties.

Like they are supposed to lose this game because you said they were gonna. So the plan is working. We win game 1 lose games 2 and 3 which we are. Then go off winning the next 3 in a row. Don’t panic everyone he said this is what will happen. Everything is going according to plan. Love that thought process.
