Sobering.
I have to admit that I was not immune to the flash and dash and slash that he provided. He stood out because it seemed like he cared. However, you have to think that there are better uses of $4M+ per season. Maybe the Robertson fans will get the increased ice time that they have been wanting for him.

If you just look at 5v5 assists per 60 minutes. *He is second in the league behind McDavid*. Yes, he is ahead of MacKinnon and Kucherov.
Many are so deep into deeply flawed advanced stats that they can’t see something staring them in the face.
Anything under 5 and I’m all over it
Love the way Domi plays if we can get him for 4.5MM would be ideal
Sign him for the vibes. Leafs need a positive story.

PPP is a decent site, but some of the posters can be a bit insufferable and rough on people who don’t agree with some of the advanced stats stuff. They will just derisively call people who don’t agree with them ‘uncles’ and classify them as the type of people who call into radio shows and run players out of town. I think advanced stats are useful, but there is no corsi Stanley Cup awarded. We all know that the playoffs are a different beast.
