Shot attempts is the worst stat to judge a game by.
Rodrigues gets hit in the back by Trouba and lays on the ice like he’s dead for 2 min. After the refs review magically he is up and perfectly fine.

I’m a tremendous fan of the Rangers, and I do a lot of analyzing. When I go to a hockey game, I prefer to sit higher rather than lower because I like to see how plays develop, and the positioning of each player.
With that being said, I can’t help but be overly critical of Trouba and Miller. Not only are they a bad duo in this series, but they’ve been exceptionally bad since the start of the playoffs. Miller, with his height, and reach, should be clearing out the front of the net at all costs. When he gets the puck, he never seems to know what to do with it, he constantly gives it away and when he tries to clear the defensive zone, he either gives the puck up or ices it. And on top of that, he almost always seems to be making backhand shoveling passes. He might as well become a right handed shooter, because he seldom makes passes on his forehand.
Trouba on the other hand, is another liability out there. He’s been constantly taking senseless penalties, and it’s hurting the team. Also, another liability.
I personally think they should sit at least one of them or both, and bring up Zac Jones and/ or Chad Rwuedel.
As the series moves on, it’s only going to get more intense, and if they make it to the final round, they’ll only hurt the team more and more.

The series is still very early in it's stage, anything can still happen. A 2-1 series is far from being in a good spot. The Panthers have been skating better this series, playing harder as well. The luck is just on the Rangers side atm. Rangers really need to step up their game and fast. Florida is still a very dangerous team and is far from being out of this series.

Trouba has been a part of some goals but outside of that Trouba and Miller have not played great hockey. Panarin has to step up he has been awful. I understand teams are going to focus on your best players and that is why you need a goodrow but he isn’t even a factor some poor entries including on PP and he has a history of just not showing up in the playoffs.
Miller needs to be taken off the PK. He cost the Rangers two goals. Put in Gustafsson. Goodrow has two Stanley Cups under his belt. He gets it and knows what it takes.

The heading says "NY Rangers are in a good spot" it's 2-1!!! You understand it's a 7 game series yes???. The only guarantee is that one of these teams will be going home. As a Ranger fan, this heading is the furthest thing from the truth.
Thank fkk Laf and Goodie have pulled us out the fire recently as Mika, Kakko and especially Panarin are already off on vacation. Did you see the fresh-air shots Panarin had last night? They are being carried by the fighters in this team. They hit top form and Rangers win this easily.

Rempe a penalty for being Rempe. … the slash was a terrible call on Trouba and the holding was a terrible call on Trouba …. If they call the game consistently with those as a guide there would be 40-60 minutes of penalties on both sides 🤷🏼♂️

Calm down; it is a marathon and not a sprint, and plain and simple, the Panthers, win or lose, are beating/wearing the Rangers down. If Rangers do not win game 4, good night nurse. Been watching this team for almost 65 years and nothing (except once) ever changes. They always find a way to disappoint.
Rangers were sloppy defensively. Way to many icing calls. Trouba and Miller played terrible and need to tighten up…especially Miller.
