Now get a few top vet Dmen who do not turn the puck over much. NJ turned the puck over way too much last season, which lead to a lot of goals. Find a way to score first since that was a huge problem last year. Defense was a big problem last year! Also, the mental part of the game was an issue, you could see it on their faces, anguish rather than making the best of the situation and remaining stoic. That distress must be tiring.

Great. Now we need to add veteran shut-down defenseman. Or two. A number one goalie. And, if possible, Brady Tkachuk. Or a centerman with some size. Scoring should not be a problem.
