I would have loved to have either, especially Carle, but the impression I got was that he wasn’t exactly itching to get to the NHL quite yet.
Though, I still am very happy that we got Chief Keefe.
Gotta imagine Keefe being available changed things a lot. I’m happy to hear we did interview outside the NHL merry go round.
Pandolfo would’ve been sick
Didn’t expect pandolfo to actually be open to it. Thought he wanted to stay at boston
If I’m Carle I’m staying at my rich private school where I keep winning natties, the season is shorter, and the players are kids.
Pandolfo is unproven at this level. Doesn’t mean he’s good or bad. We aren’t at a point to chance it. Good choice on Chief Queef
Keefe has years of regular season success
Those guys could easily be the next David Quinn. Not worth the risk
We also know from Elliotte Friedman that they interviewed Ryan Warsofsky from the Sharks. Those three plus Keefe, Berube, Green, McLellan, and Woodcroft fill out the bottom range of the 8-10 person list that Fitzgerald mentioned. I wouldn’t be surprised if they talked to Gerard Gallant as well.
