Honestly it’s a good meme, not accurate, we cheer for former players and against the oilers. I’m all in on Florida to win for that reason but wouldn’t hate seeing Tanev win either. Could care less about the stars once they knock the oilers out
It’s funny that so many oil and flames fans can’t have a civil discussion about hockey. I want the flames to be decent so the rivalry is better. The one irksome thing. Flames fans saying oilers fans bring up the past constantly because some actually do so it’s half true. My chirp is we’ve had more playoff hockey in the last 8 years than you’ve had since the lockout. But that’s my petty side.
