Robo Hat trick! JR's first career playoff hat trick as the Stars get a HUGE win! Welcome back, Hintz! The Stars are now guaranteed to play in the month of June for the first time since 2000.
Also, we've had two of the worst calls of this postseason. And both have been against us! First the OT winner in Colorado that got waved off, so we had to win the game AGAIN in double OT.. And now the embellishment call against Marchment, as he gets cross checked right in the middle of the back..

Its crazy how much the oilers game revolves around the other team getting penalised. And wonder why they arent getting calls against one of the most disciplined teams in the league.
one thing i’ve loved this postseason is actually hitting the empty nets, because it felt like the whole team really struggled with that in the regular season for some reason
Awesome gsme, How were the hits so lopsided-45 for oilers and 22 for dallas. Last game they were outshot 16-4 in the 1st and yesterday game was 10-3, this cannot continue. Should be 3 nothing if not for the posts in game 1
This shows why Dallas is such a dangerous team. They have the defense to win games 2-1, but if they need to, they score in bunches and win that way as well. They can win any kind of game that gets thrown at them.
Monster clutch win by the Stars. Oilers are very good, but i think that the Stars close it out at home on Friday in Big D. Otter in a zone, Tanev is a stud, and the ability to roll 4 lines. Deboer needs a Jack Adams nod soon, he deserves it!!

Excellent game. Its what they need to do with this edmonton team. Whether the early storm and let them wear down and just play hard for a full 60 minutes which it does not seem like the oilers are capable of doing. Dallas frustrates them alot. So many times they are banging doors and sticks.. alot like colorado did last round.

Edmonton had the puck the entire first period, the Stars found their game in the second period scored three goals in 3 minutes. I like this podcast because you talk about the game and you don’t talk shit about whoever the opponent is we are playing against.

Robertson has great hands and vision. Its hard to beat him with his stick handling. The Oilers have a history of gaining the lead and then collapsing. Maybe give Pickard a chance.
Nice work Joey. Fair and balanced reporting. While Robo gets all the credit for putting 3 pucks into the net, all 3 of his goals came from Roope Hintz doing what he does and setting all of those up.
Dallas has a bad habit of being asleep on entry to a game and having low puck possession and low shots on goal… around a dozen shots going into the halfway mark in the game. Playing from behind seems to be their specialty but not sure it’s a Cup Winning Recipe to regularly chase a game.
Coach Knoblauch made a huge error not prepping his boys for a Stars surge in that 2nd period and professionally embarrassed himself admitting they were shocked and not prepared for a Stars surge after the 1st intermission. What a failure to his team and what a gift to the Stars. This is not to say the Stars didn’t earn their rewards because they did, but it helped having a rookie coach on the other side.
