Good for you guys to speak about this investigation. There’s no mainstream sports media outlets that covers this Blackhawks case….. but there’s 1000+ different articles about Evander Kane being an idiot.
I wonder if the league could fine 10M$ off of the Hawks, and add something to the effect that this 10M$ hits against the cap. T'would be harsh but it would be fitting I guess.
I actually think nothing will happen to the Blackhawks. It will disappear from being talked about. Victim 1 and 2 will be paid off before the season starts. Swept under the rug- yup. Does Aldridge have his name on the Stanley Cup

Problem with the USA in particular, is they have a legal system, not a justice system per say. Plus as we've seen with cases over a wide spectrum, be it the abuses in Activision-Blizzard, Aaron Hernandez, banks who caused the 2008 crash, or the abused Team USA gymnasts, organisations ALWAYS try to wash their hands of any responsibility. On top of deflecting, denying, and doing their utmost to keep things like this "internal" and that's the biggest tragedy, the lessons are never learned, and the governments never try to make them learn it.

They keep talking about how they need to make the victims whole which is important but what I want is for the league to hammer the blackhawks so every team knows this stuff is serious and will take it serious instead of brushing it under the rug…, they need to find the blackhawks some crazy number of money or take 2-3 1st rounders from them!!! They took Arizona’s for improper scouting right this is at least 2-3 times worse

When someone has been a victim of an assault, male or female, for it to be publicized may bring them shame and embarrassment. The 2 Balckjawks and the boy from Michigan, who was a minor when he was assaulted, weren't quickly given comprehensive, emotional support. That's sad.
This is a serious issue and Chicago’s owners should have to sell the team and anyone who knew in management should be banned from the NHL.

I am embarrassed by the Chicago media on the coverage of this topic. As Rick Westhead mentioned if you talk about this topic you will lose your connection to the organization. Because of that, no Chicago media member will ask any question regarding this. I have called both the Chicago sports talk radio station and never got on the air because I wanted to bring up the topic. A producer told me " we are not talking about that" I asked why? He said "we are talking about the play on the ice." Embarrassing

Hello from Norway. All I can say is-pro sports in general is rotten to the bone when so much $ are involved. Football dominates completely in Europe as you know and exactly the same here. My somution is- I boycott mainstream pro sports. I support my own local team nobody has ever heard of. That club is without $ but for and by enthusiasts. For the kids and the forthcoming generation. All is volumtarily. I aint payin shyte for rottenness. Like hardcore criminals the only thing
pro sports will understand is when the $ starts to evade them. And the fans
