Gustafsson’s penalty was so stupid, it’s unforgivable.
The Bennett empty net goal was the perfect microcosm of the series. He just went and took the puck from Mika with an elbow and Mika let him. 93 and 10 are great regular season players, but lack the strength and toughness to succeed in a tight-checking series. But, it ain’t over until one team wins four. So you’re saying there’s a chance! LGR!
It’s not game 6 I’m worried about. It’s winning in MSG in game 7 and having them let us down…again, after giving us hope. MSG is the worst home building in the entire league.

Apart from #13, exactly who has shown the potential to deliver a 1994 Messier performance in Game 6? Hey, coach… you better make critical decisions regarding the line-up and style of play because the present line-up is already sounding defeated during these interviews. Forecheck defeats forecheck! Finesse is for the Ice Capades. You must ice the appropriate line-up, coach, or else this quest ends 6 games short.
As a Ranger fan from the age of 5 back in 1965 it pains me to admit this series would by over if not for Shesterkin.
The Panthers have dominated most of the play with the Rangers only catching a whiff of the offensive zone every now and then. When they try to clear the puck out of their defensive zone their sticks become noodles. Their only hope is Shesterkin can steal a couple more games for them.

As a die hard Florida Panthers fan I have to give Kudos to the Rangers, our team came into these playoffs hungry after last year's Vegas series, and each and every game has been a dog fight! It's in a no way over this series, because these guys care, and are champions as well! With that being said… LET'S GO PANTHERS!!!!!

If Mika wasnt worried about selling penalties, instead of just playing his ass off. The turnover that lead to the empty netter doesnt happen. Selling penalties is the finest thing a player can do. IF hes good at it. Mika was NOT!
Not getting that 5 on 3 killed us, not so much because we didnt get it (which was a mistake in itself) but more because of how flat we came out after which is why they were able to tie it 5ish minutes later.
I think this game came down to 0/3 on the PP. Coin flip of a game that didn't go our way but getting oneo on the PP goes a long long way. It's been bad since game 3 of the Carolina series
