I would like to know what people think about this. When the Anaheim Ducks offered Adam Henrique and Frank Vatrano for Kappa Kakko and draft picks I said make the deal. The Rangers needed someone to go into the corner and dig out the pucks and players with Stanley Cup playoff experience and Adam Henrique has both. People have told me they were happy the trade didn't happen because of Kakko 's potential scoring ability. What do you think?

All credit to the Panthers for how they have played in the series. For me, it becomes frustrating that the Rangers seem to have no plan for the clearing out of the defensive zone. If this was the regular season and you're caught by surprise in one game by a tactic, I could understand that, but it's been 5 games to see what the Panthers are trying to do to you and adapt. They look like they haven't run drills on how to break the pressure of a forecheck at all. Maybe the head coach is stuck in a mindset of "let's just play our game, and it will work out eventually", but it's obvious that whatever Rangers are doing is not working. I feel like Trouba just stares at the puck half the time, with no idea what to do with it. I mean you if you're the head coach of the Rangers, how could you not use film of the series and say "Hey guys, everytime they do this we don't clear the defensive zone" and then run a drill experimenting with different ways to counteract what the Panthers are doing. That being said, would be excited for Panthers fans, having never won a Cup, to get another chance to win one.
As an avid Devils fan and proud rangers hater… series ain’t over yet. This is a stronger Rangers squad than the past two years IMO; game 6 is going to be the toughest one Florida has played all season.

So Many People are saying our top stars are missing, No one is talking about how Krieder, Fox, Mika, Lindgren, and Chytl are all playing Injured. As much as it pains me to say, Goodrow needs to move to the first line and mika down to the 4th, he's not 100% you can tell by his turnover %. No idea why the coach has not made much more desperate changes. Every Game in the ECF is a desperate Game and each period needs to be played like this.
I’m telling you right now. As great as the Panthers are ( and they ARE) they are getting TONS of help by the Rangers themselves as their “top” line is SOFTER than baby shit and has ZERO grit. It’s not that difficult to defeat a top tier team when the players that made them top tier does NOT show up and disappear. With that, one can say Barkov and co. are taking them out which is absolutely true; BUT.. when you are paid 8-11 million dollars a yr your job is to figure it out and ADJUST your game!!! I have been saying before this series started the Rangers had not been tested at all in the playoffs. They played some feeble teams, now they have a difficult opponent. It can still happen if they get it together.

New York made it to the conference final by mastering the art of the dive. When the dives aren’t getting called as much, they have to rely entirely on Igor and puck luck. Without Igor, they’re not even a playoff team.

Rangers literally have their best team in 30 years and they run into this Juggernaut of a panthers team. Paul Maurice 2-1-2 forecheck system js unbeatable. Better team is florida hands down. Theyve done it to everyone last 2 years to elite players shutting down their top guys. It was a CULTURE SHOCK in game 1. I saw the writing on the wall. Why BEST TEAM IN. 30 YEARS FIXED THE LUNDQVIST PORBLEM BY GETTING THE SUPERSTAR AND HAVING ELITE PLAYERS. And they STILL run into this nuggernaut panthers team that feels as tough of an opponent as the 2014 Los Angeles Kings.
Im sad. Rangers didnt even play that poorly this game and they still lost. Its hopeless. Im so damn sad as a rangers fan. Igor can still steal the series. I just dont know.
