  1. People can get excited with the changes they made and start saying that they will make the playoffs but it’s not happening. Hutton is unproven as a starter, they play in a really tough division, and there is still holes in their bottom 6 and the bottom D Pair

  2. I say the Sabres will improve but their division is too strong. Detroit will be easy to destroy, so will Ottawa, and Montreal if Price has another down year. The Cats are iffy. The real killers are Boston, Tampa, and Toronto. Those guys are among the best in the NHL. The Leafs will be way more deadly with Tavaras. So it's a possibility but I don't think it will happen this year. Next year maybe. I think by 2021 the Sabres will return to the playoffs.

  3. They have a good team but they aren’t gonna beat out Tampa Boston Toronto and Florida for a playoff spot maybe second wildcard but even that is iffy with Columbus probably making it

  4. They'll make playoffs. Dahlin will be a Norris nominee player. Not even kidding this team will do very well this season

  5. 86 Points, 5th in Atlantic.

No playoffs yet but a great season for the Sabres. Nice to see them turning things around

  6. Hey Dan Rosen if you got rid of that 2nd chin then maybe you would know more about hockey. Stats aren't everything. A team could be terrible one year and next look like contenders. Oh and THG does it better.

  7. I think trade of O'Reilly could make Sabres better because they finished last with him. Instead of focus being on one player, it'll spread out, leaving confusion against other teams scouting competition… LETS GO BLUES!

  8. Don't think we are ready for a Cup run, obviously, but definitely a possible Wild Card spot and maybe a shocking first round win.

  9. Still thinking it’s gonna be 6th in their division at max. This isn’t gonna be a worst to first season for them

  10. Let’s go Sabres 💛💙
It is going to be a fantastic season. Will they make they playoffs? Probably not, but they will for sure contend for a Wild Card spot

  11. So they lose both their main goalies then bring in only one.

Guess they're hoping Ullmark is ready.

Judging by last year he may need one more month in Rochester to season.

  12. These videos should be at least 10 minutes, long enough to provide some actual insight into a team's growth and status. This watches like two guys reading the ingredients on a box of Buffalo Sabres cereal.

  13. The sabres will easily be 30 points better this season- what that means vis a vis the playoffs is anyone's guess but they will be way more interesting to watch for sure.

  14. I would still be excited as a buffalo fan … gonna be a scary team if they get a solid tendy

  15. I'll be happy if they win more games this season. I'll be ecstatic if they earn a playoff spot. Let's go, Buffalo!
    🏒💙💛💙💛💙💛🏒

  16. If they make the playoffs I say it will be a first round knock out. At this point if they are like 6 points out of a spot and not dead last I will be happy. I'm not looking for overnight success but just improvement.
