Sad the Rangers didn't win. But the Panthers really played well and really took advantage of whatever mistakes the Rangers made. Really hoping that Dallas wins it all as I a really want to see Joe Pavelski win The Cup before retiring.

NY only has 2 Cups in the last 80 years, so you could argue that they're even MORE cursed than the Leafs. History combined with the President Trophy's curse meant it was never gonna happen. They MIGHT have been able to overcome ONE bogeyman, but not TWO. As if to prove the Hockey Gods are cruel beings, Tarasenko was the one to hammer the final nail. Maybe they can channel the spirit of 1994 and trade for a bunch of 2016-17 Pens and 20-21 Bolts and win that way?

If you're the Florida Panthers, you would prefer the Dallas Stars to advance to the Stanley Cup Final instead of the Edmonton Oilers. The Stars would be easier to face than the Oilers who can give you problems with their Speed. The Panthers would be favourites against the Stars but they would be underdogs against the Oilers.

Maybe I'm cursing this, but Edmonton looks to win this whole thing. The way they started, no one would have believed that they could make it into the playoffs let alone the conference final and potentially the cup final. But then everything clicked and they have been maybe the best team in NHL. Having said that, I would like to see the Panthers win their first cup.

LOL Panthers can't handle Edmonton in my personal opinion. You think Connor McDavid will allow his team to fail in the Cup if Edmonton finishes off Dallas? Not likely and we know what's going to happen. Connor McDavid Wins his first Cup. I personally think Edmonton went against the tougher teams in the second and third round. Both Vancouver and Dallas are great teams. I'm shocked people are rating off how Great Vancouver is. If Vancouver wasn't missing some of their top players they probably would have been the Team facing off against Dallas. However, that's not how the cookie crumbled and Team Canada is the Oilers this year and it appears they will finish off Dallas in game 6 or a game 7. We shall soon find out. I'd be shocked if Dallas came back to Win 2 straight against that stacked Edmonton team. Edmonton probably has the best defense left in the playoffs though some could argue Florida's defense is up there or even better. Everyone has a different opinion.

Wow ok a lot to say. First off yes I want to see a vid of you discussing the Panthers previous games and everything up until now! Second I'm a pretty new Panthers fan, and I am so happy we won last night, but I also feel like it wasn't earned, but not because of our team. Like you said we expected to be here and we learned from last year worked real hard, but I feel like the Rangers did not give their 100%. It felt like they knew they were gonna lose the whole time and just gave up. Hope that makes sense. Super excited to see what our Panthers can do with whoever they need to beat next. I think them against the Oilers would be cool! We want that cup, and we're gonna get it!

Groan, Panthers making me consider actually watching basketball instead. The Maurice style of hockey wears down opponents but as far as I’m concerned it wears down fans as well. Just boring, dull hockey, like the NJ devils of this era. Clog up the neutral zone, lay all over the ice in the defensive slot, and rather than have any sort of intentional offense just jump on the mistakes that happen when the opponent gets bored or tired or both by the 3rd period. The Rangers had the potential to take the game to Fla physically, but instead just played right into the Panthers game plan. Ugg, cant watch them anymore…

Playing red leaguer incredible ice ( now the panthers ice den) every summer no matter how bad the panthers were they’d still have a few pplayers show up every week to interact with us as kids

Compare the # of hits, SOG, possession time, O-Zone time, etc., it looks like a #1 vs #8 1st round mismatch. The fact Igor is superhuman is the only reason this was 4-2, any other goalie & it's an EASY 4-0 sweep.
If I'm Drury I can't forget how AWFUL Trouba, Mika, Panarin & Kreider were this series. And if I'm Igor, I'm thinking long and hard about whether I'm going to let NY squander my prime like they did to Henrik.
