I loved this team so much 💜
Goosebumps every time
My reacting was a 180 from two years prior.. instead of being overjoyed, I just bent over and sighed in relief. Then celebrated.
Then came games 1, 2, 4 & 5 of the final.
This is also the 10th anniversary of Oberyn Martell having his head crushed by the Gregor Clegane
I forgot how incredibly stressful this game was to watch lol
The real SCF and everyone knew it
This was the most stressful sporting event I’ve ever watched. The relief at the OT goal was so extreme I didn’t even celebrate. l initially just let it settle in.
Easily one of the most stressful games I ever watched in my life. Also one of the best series I’ve ever watched, emotional rollercoaster
That entire series was epic in itself.
Maybe it’s hindsight, but I remember being nervous but still had full faith in that team. Bend but never break. Been chasing that feeling in the Kings for 10 years now.
Slaying the dragon in 2014
Never screamed louder for a goal in my life than Martinez in this overtime.
Fucking best game ever
Little did we know he’d do it again the very next series
Today was a good day.
Remarkable! Incredible! Unbelievable!
It was the biggest goal of his career……so far.
Halcyon says if there ever were ones for this franchise.
We just kept coming back, I had full in faith in us winning and when we did, I jumped, literally screaming with joy.
This was such a good time for me to start getting into watching hockey. I wasn’t a fan of either of these teams, but their playoff series from (2011?) 2012-2014 were incredible displays of competition.
This was probably the best game of hockey I have ever watched. That being said, fuck this game and fuck that whole playoff run. I’m convinced that this whole run is the reason I have heart problems. 100% would do it again though
I was on stage performing comedy at the San Jose Improv with my phone absolutely going nuts in my pocket with texts and alerts. Only time in my career that I couldn’t wait to get the hell off stage.
