Lost all puck battles against boards, could not clear puck, could not sustain offensive pressure, got outhit and out checked, outshot/- rangers play scared. Miller sucks. They could’ve stole back the series in game 5 they were winning 1-0
They were on a powerplay then they were going to be 2 man 5 on 3 when Erik Gustafson took a penalty so instead of being two men up, the Rangers just had the single five on four advantage which they did not score on! Then a few minutes later after Florida killed the power power play! The game was tied, and that was the end of the series the GM should take a big hit. You did not add any big pieces at the deadline. Florida was a much better team than the Rangers. I hate to say it, but it was true. Hopefully the Rangers can learn from this and take the steps necessary to win the Stanley Cup next year.
And hopefully Sam Rosen won’t be right about what he said in 1994 and this one more last lifetime I hope not. I do love that team, but I want to see another one before I go. I would bring back Patrick Kane last year when they got him he was injured. He played good for Detroit this year and he’s a winner and he’s a free agent. And please guy get rid of Jacob. He’s not a captain. He’s a coward. I did believe the Rangers could’ve won this year, but they did not make the right moves at the deadline.

The Rangers have been built around having top 5 goaltending in the NHL for over 20 years now. It might be time to change the formula / focal point. They also have to come to grips with the fact that their D just isn't getting it done. Adam Fox, for instance, is more than just a little bit overrated. He can't play defense (too small and slow), and should not even be mentioned in the same breath as Rangers D legends like Brad Park and Brian Leetch.
Tap dancing don’t work at crunch time. Regular season is a show. Playoffs is for men.
