[First up] DarrenDreger vient de nous dire que : « Lane Lambert, ancien des Islanders de New York pourrait rejoindre les #LeafsForever » alors que le staff d’entraîneurs de Craig Berube prend forme.

When Lane was assistant coach on the Preds, what special team’s was he coaching?

I don’t exactly follow coaches, but I do like how it seems Berube’s staff is being assembled from all over the place instead of just one guy bringing a team of guys from place to place.
Could be a good thing.

Wow, that’s a long contract

So far all his assistant coaches are all not that impressive.

Isles fan first leafs second. Dude had no business being a coach, just couldn’t get the guys to play and instilled anti trotz hockey(basically run and gun hockey) we saw a huge difference under Roy. I don’t think lambert is awful but you do not want him as a head coach. Berube is the one that will light that fire under them hopefully

So they basically have an entire staff of potential assistant coaches in Mike Yeo, Lane Lambert and Marc Savard.

Islanders play a hard game. I like the idea of cross pollination with them

Find a coach that can improve the power play. Edmonton has shown that a good playoff pp makes up for average goal tending and defense.
It would be far easier for the Leafs to fix the pp than finding an elite goalie and 3 really good defenders.
