Listen this team has had the same problems for over 30 years nothing has changed we have a curse trying to make the cup we just gotta hope and pray at this point that we make it next year witch ant gonna work but will see but besides this year boys it was a great regular season we won the president's trophy we had a really good team just unfortunate that we lost game 6 keep the heads up and igor I Thank you so much for all you done this year man without you we are nothing so besides that will see what happens next year go rangers.

Laviolette ruined this team. The whole team played terrified. They were bullied and pushed around the whole series. This head coach needs to answer for this. The team was flying and playing great, and then this clown started shaking up line up.
It's All referee fault. They were not favoring Rangers. Dopesterkin Shisterkin did not dope enough with enhancing drugs or doped too much and his body started giving out.
The Panthers were just better.
We were punked as simple as that. We had no one to stand up to their bullies! That's their game and biggest advantage and they play it to the hilt. They whole series on every play it took two Rangers to handle one Panther to even get him off the puck. Our stars don't have the strength and physicality of theirs and I don't know how you fix that. We're obviously one of the best teams in the league in open space but the dump and forecheck game eats us alive just not physical enough yet.
Drury took over to "beef" up the team. Then they gave the team to Laviolette, and he did what he could with what he had. EVERYONE thought WOW, what a team during the regular season. Now listen to them. This is a disappointing and a bit of a devastating loss. Some heads will roll. I think one gown will be penarin. He was not good in the playoffs last year and this year, despite his promise. Trouba is iffy. Wheeler will be gone. Laviolette will stay, but hire a different asst. coach or two.
We wont be back in this position for at least another 8 years. Team is fucked.

Thought Laviolette's comment on the Panthers defense was telling. They were excellent but certainly Rangers had no net front presence the entire series, no one willing nor able to fill that role when the Defense was pouring on shots from the point either by design or otherwise.
Take the C off trouba. Trade for a top shutdown defenseman. That Rangers blue line is so fragile.

Well earned loss. #4, Schneider, was the best player the Panthers could hope for. Unfortunately, he played for Rangers.
Rangers were outplayed in the Carolina series, too. Igor stole that series. That, and several bad goals given up by Andersen were the determining factor. They were outshot every game but 3. Plus, the big boys once again disappeared like they have in the past, never to be seen again.

Bottom line you played hot potato with the puck too many games, there was fear to maintain the puck and skate with it and get movement just simply turned it over to Florida a zillion times in the middle of the series , then a new thing the6 loved these back handed weak passes that also resulted in turnovers everytime and goals including Gustafson on the goal Tarasenko scored that gave them that sequence x He also screwed us when we finally had a 5 on 3 we DESPERATELY needed. Panarin just dissapears fine u wanna keep him cool but you need guys with GRIT like the kid you got rid of Vatrano guys like that kid when you have a telented team will start the wheels, get rid of wheeler too old, Gustafsson if you cant correct his mistakes, Roslavic i can do without.
