Tkachuk being who I hate the most is exactly why he’d be the best addition 😭 Marchand, Smart, Rodney Harrison are all the same types: players u HATE unless they playing for YOU, in which case as a fan you’ll love them regardless of whether u want to 😂
We've had great matchups in the past between Canadian markets and small market teams. Tampa-Calgary and Carolina-Edmonton were two of the best Cup Finals ever. Go Oilers!

Ownership and Neely intentionally got away from players like Tkachuk when they fired Chiarelli and replaced him with Sweeney. And at the time, Felger was right on board with the smaller, faster style of play and team they wanted to build.

I'm a Hockey fan, but I will not be watching. Florida plays like NJ Devils of 1995. A rat team in a southern market. Don't really follow Edmonton either. Also, not a gambler. Have no interest.

The NHL has been a major niche sport because of the stupid extra-curricular shit that Florida has mastered. If the NHL wanted to draw people in from Topeka, maybe make it a more respectable sport by eliminating the extra-curricular bullshit from the game. I personally want to see the team that is more skilled at the SPORT prevail.

You guys are heavily discounting the Oilers because of your lack of knowledge in the sport. They have a very heavy offense and powerplay. Will it be enough to beat the Panthers? Idk. I will say I think Edmonton won't be able to rely heavily on their powerplay since Florida doesn't get called for shit. I regretfully think that Florida will win this series, but I did last year too against Vegas.
