I have two of these sticks haha
I worked at the arena that year. They were doing a stick giveaway and raleigh got snowed in. Either nobody showed up for the game or attendance wasn’t allowed. I can’t remember. But since the other team was in town they played it.
They gave away these sticks like candy in the weeks following
