  1. My prediction::9th in the Eastern conference without Panarin…6th in the Eastern conference with him.

  2. I can see Panarin finishing his contract and then going back to the Hawks. He’s on a legit cup contender right now that loves him, and he’s not interested in staying, even with the money they’d pay him. He’ll then be a deadline deal not worth very much because he’s not going to sign with another team, the Hawks won’t trade for him since they know they’ll get him back, and Columbus is likely to get fleeced by a team making a cup push.

  3. What do yo get back for a guy like this who will probably walk after a team trades for him? Honestly I don't see it to be much. Probably a sharks trade IMO for a cup run then to begin a massive rebuild?

  4. Kreider, Hayes and a second pick for Panarin and Dubinsky! Realistic? I have no idea….. lol

  5. In my opinion, without Panera, they won’t do well but they aren’t screwed. They will just miss the playoffs by a bit
    (Edit: i meant Panerin)

  6. Where tf is the Buffalo video. If that's not the next one out… how long does it take you to film a guy going "and now that they've got Skinner their winger depth is definitely looking better than it has in the last few years and so you might see Buffalo contend for a wild card this year" and just slap it on whatever you had already filmed. This is embarrassing for you.

  7. As a Jackets fan it's killing me Panarin doesn't want to stay. I thought we were finally getting past players not wanting to stay in Columbus. I hope we can get a good return for him.

  8. Columbus will sneak into the playoffs if Bobrovskys amazing as usual. They have solid defense, and there top 3 lines are half decent.

  9. Was hoping for a season preview, but this was just a long-winded Panarin trade impact video. The Hockey Guy does it better

  10. Either they trade him now/very soon to get the new guy or guys in to have a full training camp with the team to start the season right, or they keep him till the seasons over and let him walk. The team is still young, and while it would be nice to get good return for Panarin. If he wont sign, and a deal doesn't give us at least 90% value, then keep him till its over. He showed what he can do, and the team has a full year with him already and success. Just be honest about it, come out and say "hey hes leaving once the seasons over guys" and let everyone say, "well lets do this boys!" This team is the best CBJ team ever (and its really not close to any point in the teams past). So why not ride it out and see what happens? Maybe he changes his mind halfway into the season and decides to sign. You dont mess with a winning formula and as disappointing as it is that he doesn't want to stay, I say lets ride him out and make a good run at it. I mean whats the point of saying "2 year contract" or "1 year left" if every time they get to that last year, they get traded? Make him fulfill his contract. Do you think if they go all the way and win the cup he will still want to leave? Why couldnt CBJ keep him this season then discuss resigning him in the off-season? They make it sound like they either trade him or loose him. NOT the case, he can resign once the seasons over, and maybe thats what he would do. See how well they do this season, then make the decision to stay or go. Great though that the CBJ season preview video was 3/4 "will Panarin stay or go". Really comprehensive look at the TEAM!

  11. 101 Points, 3rd in Metro.

they’re emerging as a contender and even if panarin is gone they have the pieces to get back. I also see them winning a playoff series this year

  12. They need to sign and trade Panarin to get full value. I'd try to acquire another good player. Look at BUF, got Skinner for nothing. Another good player to play with Panarin, he might want to stay. Duke is solid. Maybe he can get back to getting 40pts

  13. Hawks deserve everything they get for trading the breadman away. I hope Panarin goes to Toronto and thrives.

  14. They need a #1 center which if from within then need Boone Jenner to elevate his game to be a playoff team ! They got amazing defence corps & Bobrovsky healthy they in !

  15. I feel Panarin does want to play here in Columbus. He is just playing the 'wait-and-see' game. People are making a mountain out of a molehill here. I do think in the end, the Jackets will end up signing one or the other between Panarin and Bob, but not both.

  16. They didn't even mention Dubois. The kid had a stellar off season and could be the next big scorer on the team
